Lived in Cleveland for most of my working life but often visited my mom and dad in rural Pennsylvania. Then I lived in a small Ohio town, and now I live in a very small housing development between a corn field and a soybean field out in the middle of "no place special" Ohio. I don't miss Cleveland. Yes, pork it is the food of the God's in my opinion. Most city people don't realize how huge a hog is. We are still trying to finish half a hog that we, my wife and I, split with a hobby farmer three years ago. due to the back-up at the butcher shops, it turned out to be a muscular and lean but tender hog. Happy belated New Years and Orthodox Christmas. I believe it's on the 7th of January, but I would have to call my Orthodox friend to find out. Noticed that you were cooking on bottled gas. Thanks for the trip down memory lane. It's getting late here and time for bed.
