me personally i think its good but you should def add some rests, it just kinda keeps going and going. just like there are natural pauses in sentences, music should be the same.
@@suhasrakothu5213 that's definitely a problem of mine I'm trying to work out. I wind up focusing more on keeping it moving rather than utilizing some good pauses, and in hind sight it sort of makes it hard to breathe when there's not much a good chance to. It's something to improve on, for sure.
Measure 10 sounds a little interesting, it’s the only spot that I question a little bit, but it’s a pretty catchy tune, I like it! If you made this, definitely keep it up I do enjoy this
Great work! A quick engraving tip, if you don't mind: Generally speaking, it's ideal to always have beats 2 and 3 visibly separated in every measure (called "breaking the middle of the bar"). This ensures that the strong beats (1 & 3) are always visible. I noticed a spot or two where a quarter note on the upbeat of beat 2 closes the gap. Ideally, it would be two eighth notes tied together instead. Same duration, different notation. (By the way, I only bring it up because it was the *very first* constructive criticism I got when I started composing, and it's been stuck in my head ever since!) Keep it up!
I greatly appreciate that! It's things like that I hardly think of when I'm writing, but I know will help me out in the long run. Thank you for the help!
Thank you 😁 And honestly I hadn't noticed it until now, but it could be a sort of way to make it easier to read for a pianist. I know I've seen piano scores for solo instruments that usually have the two separated by a little bit, but definitely not that much. Could just be a Musescore thing though, and I'll see if that's able to be adjusted in the future to make the gap a little more reasonable.
When Musescore's video generator can't fit two staves on the page, it'll stretch everything out to "remove" dead space. Really, the dead space is just between the staves now, but it doesn't look quite as weird as when the entire bottom half of the screen is blank.
@imnotbaguette There's some cool videos on some other channels of people playing (I think) up to three notes on one instrument, like a trombone. While I wouldn't write that into a piece, I definitely don't see two notes in the trumpet part watching back through this.
Let me know what you think!

holy shit, that piano part is insanely hard
Very nice.
Is the trumpet staff being way above the piano staff a bug? That happens a lot when I use musescore. Really annoying when that happens.
Thank you 😁

How can you play 2 notes at the same time in A TRUMPET?
That’s literally a piano part on the bottom. Are you dense?

@@celestialciel3774 The piano sounds like a trumpet in the video.
@@Birds_ARE_real It's called multiphonics bro...
@@imnotbaguette it does not but ok
Do you have 2 trumpets?
Pauses would be appreciated.
It's horrible.
I agree.
