I love kabar such a classic knife shape, i have one and also the israeli coppy thats not as good. I think this knife suffering from its own success at ww2. People that never been in the military think that just because this knife was made for military use than it must be great at every thing ( dbk comes to mind, those guys just dont get it). This is just not the case most of military equipment is task oriented and specific. Also cost saving is a big consideration in any military equipment contract.The kabar is great for what it is and the rest is a bonus.
