@@ParkerhillShunt Thank you, I understand at a show some people do like to see “fast trains” I totally agree the trains look so much better running at a scale speed 👍

Pat, it's the first time I've visited your site, and I like it very much. I've also got to say that your signal box is amazing, what brand is it if you don't mind me asking. Great Work.
Hi Mark Thank you for taking the time to comment and I am glad you enjoy my content I will ask the layout owner about the signal box and get back to you Thanks Pat
Hi Mark Had this back from the layout owner Signal Box is scratch built, started by one of the members of the group and finished by the layout owner, It's a plasticard structure covered in Slaters embossed brickwork, etched windows, ratio gutters and laser cut details. Hope that helps Pat
FINESCALE P4 WITH DAFT TOY TRAIN SET SOUND !!! Why spoil a Finescale P4 layout with imbecilic & totally unrealistic fake digital sound ?? Maybe you haven't noticed the "puffing sound" on the steam locos is not in time with the cylinders, whether 2, 3 or 4 cylinder types ! And you can't get large enough speakers into little "OO" models to replicate the base end sound, so all sounds come out sounding like electronic high pitched interference.
hey if you are so worried about it why dont you develop your own system that sounds better? plus its not your layout so you can’t control whats done to it
Superb I was lucky enough to travel behind 3 Deltics on the Western Region so nice to see one at the end! but that track work looks superb
Thank you for the comment 👍
It is staggering how much better a model looks when the trackwork is to scale.
Yes I agree P4 is a lot of work but does look very nice and this layout dose work
Thanks Pat

Very nice - I particularly like the detail and the sweeping bends - very realistic!
The layout is next out at York over Easter bank holiday 2024
What a superb layout, really enjoyed watching this video
Thanks Pat
Want to echo everything the rest of the comments have stated about this awesome layout. The scale speed really adds.

Wow. I think you should find more important issues to get angry about. This is pretty realistic modelling, and some sound is better than no sound.
