- On this kayak catfishing trip, I started out trolling a main channel ledge with suspended pieces of cut bait looking for post spawn catfish. I ended up working down river to a deep hole where I found fish stacked up. The bite was on and I couldn't keep my baits in the water.

Your success is because you are so precise in your methods. Very focused on how you fish so consistently. Great point about the anchor drop. I'm pretty sure I've messed myself up by dropping the anchor into the fish I spotted. Great batch of Kitties! Your "Dinks" are our whoppers. ;D

Still super cool to keep catching them lil cat mommas on the same baits over and over! Then crazy some days ya keep putting on fresh bleeding baits and have such slow bites! Love your channel, I’ve been subscribed for a while now. I watch every video you post. I’m just curious…. Do you think the catfish slime you get on your line after catching a fish bothers other fish from eating your bait? Maybe when they come up and look at your bait and you can see them on the graph and they turn away maybe they can see the access catfish slime and don’t want to bite it? Just a thought I had. I know when we crappie fish and catch a cat if you don’t wipe the slime off your like you won’t catch another crappie.
I'm not Justin so my opinion clearly isn't as valuable but I have never had an issue with them not biting because of a slimed line.
I love that you don't weigh or measure your fish unless you're doing a slot tournament. I don't care about that mess either. I know when I've caught a donkey, and it doesn't matter to me what other people think of it. Heck I'm so fat, all my fish look like dinks in the pictures anyway :)

Justin how long does the battery last on your trolling motor and running that fish/depth finder and do you have a whole big ole 50 lb 12 volt marine battery in the back of that kayak or what?
