Justin mentioned the light switch turned off. I was recently throwing bread to turtles, bluegill and carp on the river/lake in the middle of Austin, Tx. They were all fighting each other for the bread...but then all of a sudden, the fish kept quit coming up and the turtles just slowly swam off like somebody flipped a light switch. IDK...weird.🤷🏻♂️

Justin, I left my bait bucket at home today. Went to fish the Tennessee, ended up bass fishing when I had planned on catfishing, and the fishing gods punished me by making my fuel pump fail on the side on the interstate. Hey at least I caught a few.

Funny how you plan how your trip is gonna go but then you start catching fish in one spot and you stay in the same spot cause it's just that good. I've had those days plan to fish 3-4 spots but never leave the first spot cause it's that good

Try the dales tackle pig sticker that's what I switched to.I kept losing flathead due to the hook I was using. The flathead mouth is so wide and thick a regular circle hook has a hard time hooking up.

@@keithcarter4086 I've tried several types and sizes of hooks and by far the best hookup ratio I've had is with this type of hybrid hook. Our river here is full of flathead and I was landing 2 out of 5 fish it took me a while to figure out what was happening until I was pulling the hook one night and noticed the gap of my 10/0 didn't have very much of a place to set in its mouth it was a 46 lb flat so I started researching and found these and it was a game changer.
