Back in the fox days my hatch would run 13.24 at 104.20 with a lockup converter. I switched to a non lockup and went 13.24 at 101.70. Better 60/330 by far but it lost top end charge. Your results are the same as mine

The bad thing about putting down a puddle of prep is spinning the tires after second gear. Yes the tires will collect loose rocks on the street and it will be like skating on marbles. The rocks get glued to the tires. Trust me I know. Water burnouts work great.

Can you test the converter locking up in 2nd gear to see if that does anything different
So I have ported Cj comp stage 3 cams and circle D 5c and 373 gears on my 14 and FbO. When I setup my car you said 373s are the worst gears to go with stay with 315 gears. But watching you do this build you have 373s I believe. I’m actually thinking of going back to 331s.

NA guys have seen better times locking up in 2nd versus 3rd. I wonder if locking up on the 1-2 shift is worth any more than after the shift.

Great video! From a rolling start, would a high stall or medium stall converter accelerate faster if both the converters were unlocked?
Imo from. Roll a lower stall is recommended depending on starting rpm

Coyote no question. Every generation of coyote has been tried and true . With a little research you can find every combination for all power levels.
