Remember that street week is a deadline set by you! Your viewers don't hold you to such deadlines. We care about seeing you build crazy cars whatever the process and timeline is.
Yes
Don't rush it Peter. Be safe!
I once put a stereo in my car and i was so proud, meanwhile in Sweden...
So much progress! This will be so cool!
Please don't hurt yourself or make yourself sick in your efforts to meet the Street week deadline, we will all continue to watch with admiration your skill and ingenuity emerge from this chrysalis.
The love, determination and discipline you got for this is amazinf well done peter
Super impressed by the breadth of the tasks you've set and accomplished! From chassis work, engine assembly, wiring harness modification, etc. etc. etc.. you're doing amazing work!
looks so good Peter😊 low and wide😊
I hope you are able to get a car to America so we can see you on the 1320 channel!
To see the car my dad had when i was young like this is just awesome.
Keep up the spirit peter!
Galet projekt. Tack för att du delar detta bygge med oss.. 😎👍👍👍
Looks amazing. A project car like this is never done, but I can't wait to see it mostly done and racing.
I know you want to make it, but for us, no pressure to you. Enjoy your build, its A++
Epic effort as always, well done.
Drinking morning coffee from volvoghini cup and wacthing this project, best way to start morning. I wanna see wiring harness work, sad if you dont film it. Thumbs from Finland 👍
It's a pleasure to watch your enginuity
Looks amazing!!!
The Siroco compact HVAC unit is nice, I have one in my LS swapped lightweight Mustang. Keep up the good work Peter, very impressive !
Thanks for the fascinating project report! I can see the midship engine shining through!
You have given yourself a near impossible deadline. But if anyone can get it done in time, its you!. Love your work peter 👍
this event has already happened and you can look at the highlights or keep following...always enjoy his videos as a fellow Lamborghini owner always fun and respect
if you give the fire-extinguisher more space, maybe flip it around so the the valves are on the inside of the cage, might be safer/more protected in case of crash/when it matters it works?
no expert, just a thought! awesome work/project. I am in awe and seen all the vids ;)
damn that thing Is looking sweet!
Awesome Peter! Vi håller tummar och tår 👍🏻 Men ha respekt för stressen! Jag har själv varit sjuk i stress och eftersom du själv var dålig för en tid sen så, stressa lagom. De kommer ordna sig! 😀👏🏻
If you manage to get it running for Street Week that would be like the most impressive thing I've ever seen. Maybe it would work to make a cutout in the hood and make the fender a bit higher outside of it, I guess like many track supercars.
Amazing work, love this project. I hope everything goes smooth towards your goal to have it ready.
I think it looks amazing. What an inspiration
Kul att se dig så passionerad över ett projekt igen Peter! Oroa dig inte över att missa StreetWeek även om jag förstår att du verkligen vill vara med, vi älskar dina byggen ändå!
I hope we all appreciate you sharing your build process.
great job
Love your work and your videos Peter!
looking fantastic as always! one very minor bit of advice, maybe try to get the bolts through the rear wishbone rose joints to go in from the top rather than the bottom, it may be an pain to do as looks like you may need to remove the brackets to do it, but if the bolt ever becomes loose and you lose the nut, at least the bolt will stay in and keep the wishbone somewhere near where it should be, rather than dropping out completely
looking forward to seeing it go down the track soon!
I can imagine a situation in which you require maximum braking effect both from the brakes and the parachute, and you wouldn’t want to move your foot off the brake pedal to activate the parachute.
Very impressive Peter .
What a beautiful project ⭐️ The rear body looks really great. Maybe in the front, a convex hood can be a solution to blend with fenders height ( as for example VW Corrado design ). Regards
Jag är inte religös men som dom säger i mitt gamla hemland, you are doing God's work
Dont rush😮 Awesome project
It's incredible you are doing substatially all alone in such a short period of time!
Chapeau man! I can't wait to see it rolling hard
Peter - you are an absolute legend. Really enjoying this build. It's going to be awesome.
Nice video, love the role cage assembly.
Love your work Peter
Thank you for your time.
Your build is amazing my friend! Your skills are amazing ! Can’t wait to see this in action. The attentions to detail is awesome. This car is going to be a weapon!!! Well done my friend!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Really puts it in perspective how wide it is when you had the hood on there pumped to see it run
An awesome build ✌️
This build is looking amazing , but I worry about the pressure you have set yourself , your knowledge/ability is incredible!
Amazing. So much progress and looking Great. Don't rush it, Be Safe.
Love that Siroco compact AC unit
Looks like a proper busbil! Awesome :D
Härligt med en update från Björcken
ql att se lite mer av bygget !!! Lycka till !!
04:35 This shot lowkey gives me mini trophy truck vibes, looks so cool.
Kämpa på🤩 Riktigt grymt och intressant att se :)
this build is awesome!
I totally agree/ don’t rush it… it’s coming on fantastically 🎉 love this build, don’t care how long it takes..
Nice progress as always - lot of work. Good luck for finalizing the project! And thx for the video :)
The chassis look really good 👍🏻 🏁
Without doubt, the coolest project on youtube! Keep up the good work Peter!!
I love your imagination! Very unique and bad ass 👌 Imo, if your hood was narrower then maybe you could do something in regards to fenders?
It looks like a menace! Can't wait to see how it ends up
The bolts in the control arms should come through from the top if at all possible. If the nut falls off the bolt might stay for a while.
Sjukt rått Peter! 😎💪💪🔥🔥
Awesome project and progress! Hilsen fra Norge 🇳🇴🇸🇪
Awesome! I thought fitting a 1JZ to my 244 was amazing. Appreciate you sharing. Please don't stress to please viewers (I know you want to get the car ready for yourself). cheers
Yay for progress!
amazing work the best from holland
Dude I LOVE IT !!!!!!! I want one !!!!!!
Maybe you should pull the safetypin for the parachute before burnout. If you get "gashäng" when you do burnout. For the first test anyway.
Alltså så jäääävla brutal 😍
lots of progress
I hope you get it ready it will be interresting to see how it perform. Interresting video as allways on this channel.
Hey up mate the car is looking so good it's all coming together, best wishes for street week 24
oooft! looking good
You make it look easy 🤣
Amazing video again! Like someone said, be safe, dont rush as an expence of your safety :) But I really would like to see video(s) from Streetweek :)
you could always film some stuff and save for a video after street week, good luck!
How about if the fenders and front bumper looked something similar to the iconic Group B Audi Quattro S1 front end design, some easy clip on body parts? Just a thought. The car looks awesome great progress. Take care, Peter!
If you look at the Super touring S40 for inspiration the top of wheel is almost level with the hood
Grymt bygge👌
Grymt jobbat det börjar att närma sig
I see the endgame now, it's gonna be wicked!
I think an Audi IMSA GTO look alike bodykit would look kinda cool and should make room for the much wider wheelbase
air vents in the front fenders :)
Lykke til 🤜🤛
Cool project you have there man such a shame we don't get any of thoes kind of😊 cars in New Zealand
Epic!!!
Riktigt fränt bygge! Jobba inte ihjäl dig bara! 😉😅
Fingers crossed 😊
You could sculpt the front wheel tubs after the Corvette C3 look. Wouldn't hurt to give it some hips in the back to match then.
18:55 - Stressed now! Indeed... I was wondering how you were getting on with this compressed time frame, as you seemed pretty cool until mentioning that point. I've been in a similar circumstance with a car, so you have my sympathies! Good luck and fingers crossed. It looks great man!
Maybe make it open wheeled on the front? Less drag coefficient and saves some time on fabbing. Sure its a bit messier option tho
I would turn new wheel hubs on the lathe then you can make it what ever wheel pcd you want 🏁
The Mad Scientist attacks another Volvo, i love it.
kul att se hur långt du har kommit 20 år efter att vi plugga flyget ihop, jag är så imponerad av din ingenjörskonst
Thanks This The Great Car , Volvo. , 100% The Best Content !
Hello From Finland and My Car Channel : #Retired4You
All The Best to You & Your TH-cam Channel !
When your “done” with the 244 can we convince you to take it to Nordschleife? Please… would be awesome to see!
i dont know, if it was me I'd want a big dumb lever for my chute. Something I could slap at and activate when im sideways on the strip trying to get my car straight. And separate from everything else. Like a old racer told me back in the day, you want your safety equipment accessible when your strapped in your seat upside down.
I wish I had your skills, I do all my own mechanical work but I'm too worried to do major fab work.
Also Australia has stupid rules for cars, some states you can't even modify the exhaust without making the car legally un-roadworthy.
Engine swaps need an engineer to go over the car and give a certificate on any engine mounts, extra power needs better brakes, you need to do a brake stop test, it's thousands just for the paperwork.
Så sjukt ballt Peter! Bilen sätter verkligen ett leende på läpparna :D
DTM Class 1 look alike. 👍
Surely there exists a VAG wheel hub that you can modify or it exists in the correct bolt pattern.
If you make it in time it will be trial and error on the strip :)
I maybe have a solution for your hood/fender problem.
Make like a dodge viper hood that folds with the fenders to the front of the car.
