- I still live! Just quite exhausted from this year, which I think you might be able to hear in places throughout the video. Apologies for that, but rerecording everything I wasn't 100% happy with would delay the upload of this until probably the next financial year.

That was pretty crazy. I had no idea you could do most of that in the game. The sketches were a very nice addition for when you explained things. It really was a fun video to watch.

The controll spell is great example of why gothic 1 is so unique, some abilities have been expanded in G2 but Sect camp magic is gone 😄😵

I have found a small mistake in one of my explanations: Golems have 600hp, not 150, so add another 150 essence of strength potions to the mountain of potions needed to one shot them.
If you are wondering how I one shot them despite my mixup, I drank in excess of even the actually required number.
Also if you ever heard me say essence of health I meant to say extract of life. Oops!
Well if you just did a No OoB speedrun it would get you the same result but it wouldn't be as fun and unique. Like I didn't even know this spell existed and I have spent hundreds of hours in Gothic 1
I finished as a mage recently wtih 125% increased enemy hp and stuff from mod and 5 instead of 12 hp per level, workshop mods work on steam and its fun tbf. Next time Im going for Swamp camp although without glitching the game, couldn't even run to gomez with weapon out cuz it was updated :D
I don't know why the commentery is so good. But it is exceptional.
some speedrun strats over here :D would be interesting if its also possible without any glitches

15:00 im very curious here, since you do know basically all exploits and are knowledgable about the game to an insane degree (which i didnt expect)
why did you not choose to just cap the framerate at 20 and do a lurker jump to xardas' tower?
was it because you thought it was too easy and wanted to kill the golems with 10000 strength for better content, or did you actually not know this one little trick?

Modifying game files in my opinion strays a bit too far from exploiting for my liking. I could also get to Xardas' tower by doing a catapult glitch.
However, I despise doing that glitch, since it usually takes a long time for me to pull it off due to the specific timing needed.
And I suppose one-shot Mud makes better content too :)
I might be wrong but it seems that you used other scrolls and weapons than mind control.

You just use bind O in cheat mode but fair and square
I have few Questions:
Why no Dusty? 10 lvl can be issue with longer control time, but this make him viable to fight monsters up to 15 lvl, he won't flee.
Why no 4th chapter for control runes? Cadar have one in this chapter.
Why no eggs from old mine? it is even easier to get those than from Sleeper Temle.
As you used river bug to copy potions, or duplication, i belive easier way is to pres ctrl+alt+f8 during drinking. Working as river bug.
Also, you can leave Old Camp easier by hole between north gate and wall.
Anyway great video, I'm bowing to you with respect for spending all this time to prove it is posible. This try with Templar piercing hearts - genius.

I don’t bother investing in runes since I could duplicate scrolls
You can’t (or at least I couldn’t) get into the minecrawler queen cave without doing the plot as intended, which I thought would take a while to get the main item for the video.
Since controlled NPCs can only access their inventory while looting a body, using the river glitch to increase NPC stats wouldn’t be feasible. Having thousands of potions at hand also requires less timing and dexterity.
In the old camp, the other gate has an invincible guard who would cause problems when controlling or transforming.

@@san4ndreas103 as generic as it sounds, just start doing it and experiment a bit!
There are free video editors like davincii resolve which are quite competent in what you can do in there, might have to look at a few tutorials but your first videos I would recommend not to be too technically demanding so you can get a feel for it.
To record the footage itself, I use OBS since it is free and of good quality.
