Thank you for making that statement and phrasing it the way you did. Eminem came along when I was 16 and his music was very profound for me. I hear the same sort of depth in NF’s music now. In returns he says his fans know he isn't in that casket, trash bag is buried somewhere with his ashes. If you listen to the opening of "oh lord" he says when I die put my ashes in a trash bag, I don't care where they go. He's saying his fans know him so well that they'll understand that line. I just now got this and wondered if anyone else caught this line?

His lyricism is mediocre and word play is average, but other than that I agree. The only reason I cant listen to nf all the time anymore is because theres no replay value imo, no depth in the lyricism, beats are always fire tho. 1 listen and you got everything, sure its deep and meaningful but its so simplistic, and not in a good way. Wish he would apply himself to have better rhyming metaphors word play etc. he can do it he just hasnt done it in a while.
