Brilliant. Thank you so much for uploading this tutorial. My sons LG TV was gradually getting darker until eventually the right side went dark too.
I knew it was only the LED backlighting as I could still see apps on the screen when you held a bright light to it. Came across this video and sourced LED’s off eBay then step by step I followed your steps and I’ve just switched on the tv to a full brightness screen. Thanks again

Jimmy, I have a lg 32lf5600. The screen is displaying image but super dark to the point where it looks off. Is the the back lit led problem or the main board problem? Would you recommend replacing one or the other? Or both? Any advise would be greatly helpful. Thanks

Another problem came out, in my Samsung TV, model: UE40F6510AB, 2 USB sockets on the rear panel broke. Records fell out of the usb socket. Where can I order new ones?

Thanks for the info. I have a LG 47lb6100. @ 4:40 how do you disconnect the led power strip connectors so easily? Is there a trick to it? I cannot get mine to budge and I feel like I am going to break the connector.

Hi there, thanks for the great instructional video. I have an LG 32LB580V and the screen has gone dark. Could the LED’s be the issue or will it be whatever is supplying the power to them? Only reason I ask is how can they all fail together? Cheers.
