Hard to see it then but 20 year later Nam Rood was in Emmerdale playing a vicar! Oh and when they were going through the controllers... I still have my two Bollistick joypads for the Amiga... amazing pads for Swos and F1GP :)
Probably the best episode as Violet went to Japan and I was like "oh my God....it looks so amazing there with all those bright lights and arcades. I want to live in Japan" And still I have never been!!!
Oh, to visit Japan, and especially Sega Japan HQ in the 90s! Love the test version of Title Fight she checked out. Hope you get to travel there some day! If you do, be sure to check out Osaka and its electronics area Denki Town.
Wow what a cool and strange show! It's weird but I remember being disappointed in Mario Kart when it first came out too, but it strictly had to do with the screen for 1 player being half screen. That was a bummer for me as another game I was playing at the time was Road Rash 2 and it was great in full screen. I still loved Mario Kart, but that was something that was annoying for me back then. Great episode man!
Nam Rood "A crappily dressed snooker player" LOL! I'd love to see him at the Crucible. Also lusted for a Falcon. I still want one to this day, bit expensive though and the lack of software would be a bit of a bummer. Think I'll stick with my ST. Check out the ribbon cable coming out of the Lynx. I'm sure one of your subscribers were asking about how they got GB and Lynx captures a few videos ago, well, there's the answer. Some mad proprietary device that a load of people wanted to get ther mits on.
Used to the love playing house of the dead 2 in the Cromer arcade then once the dreamcast came out it was one of the first games I got for the system, ahhh the 90s
I have that Amiga Power Tips video, though it sadly appears to have gone mouldy. :( (I'm also convinced I went to college years later with one of the review kids.)
15:26 "Here comes the three brides of Dracula, they're coming to eat me, but Dracula's told them not to cause he wants to eat me.". What movie has he been watching? :)
I can remember the Lynx being advertised for left handed people and having a go myself. The thing is though it didn't feel right and that's coming from someone who is left handed.
There was an R360 unit in Segaworld at the Trocadero, I remember dragging my parents there when all you paid was entry and the machines were set to freeplay...Mum got stuck upside down for about 5 minutes whilst trying to execute a barrel roll, I laughed and laughed and laughed!
Hello mate you said you played the virtual racer machine in Cromer, that's interesting as I'm only about 20 miles away from Cromer my self. Whereabouts are you from?
Gary Barlow with the plush blonde hair, & Robbie Williams!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's funny looking at the kids in the background, walking & standing around aimlessly!🤣 It's as if Yorkshire Television kidnapped a load of kids from the street & stuck them here!🤣🤣🤣 I have an Amiga 500 & I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the bitmaps\Jpegs Super Mario Kart, I still can't understand why Nintendo went with the top half of the screen using the race track, while the bottom half are train track sprites. I'm sure the game would of performed even better if it had full screen race track with a map overlay in the bottom righ corner Night Trap got a load of Shtik didn't it?!😂 Holy crap! The Sega Virtual Machine! The graphics are close to Saturn\Dreamcast.....but in 1992!😳 Just goes to show that Japan was more advanced than the rest of the world when it comes to video games! It always amazed me on how Kevin McCallister was able to lift up a solid cast iron bollard above his head!!🤯
Genuinely went too school with a guy that looked Nam Rood..... He was happily and openly gay by Senior school and he got the nickname Ram Nude... Poor sod
Nah, Night Trap was made by Digital Pictures, along with a ton of other games for the Mega-CD, a few of which were originally supposed to be titles for Hasbro's Control-Vision/Nemo which was going to be a console that used VHS tapes, but never got released.
7:21 SECURITY IS VERY TIGHT, can't mention his name?? the fuck, it is just a stupid video game company!!!!! All the children who review the games are always so down and depressed lol like they are being forced to do this against their will
It was definitely the A Team theme tune! Smashing nostalgia as always - all the best for Christmas and the New Year.
"Nam looks like a snooker player from a dystopian future" 😂
a SHITTY snooker player from a dystopian future :D
Mate this is brilliant. love your videos!
Nam is my favorite part of the show. Hands down.
I’m watching this on December 18th 2017, only one day out, violet can have it too.
£39.99 in 92 and kids complain about game prices these days

Amiga boy here, but had STs in the CD rooms at skool and dinner times were spent having massive Kick Off tourneys all the time :)
Probably the best episode as Violet went to Japan and I was like "oh my God....it looks so amazing there with all those bright lights and arcades. I want to live in Japan"
And still I have never been!!!
loved this as a kid 😊

Retro Game Players I felt the same way. I didn't really appreciate Mario Kart until the 64
Lakesh(?) was usually always spot on. I sometimes wonder if he still plays games to this day.

Used to the love playing house of the dead 2 in the Cromer arcade then once the dreamcast came out it was one of the first games I got for the system, ahhh the 90s
12:28- yeah, was that from some A Team game??
I have that Amiga Power Tips video, though it sadly appears to have gone mouldy. :(

Good one Namm
I grown up on the 90 very confusing gaming technology times...
Revenge Of Death Adder is the true Golden Axe 2
yes, I loves the Atari lynx too.
Any idea if the ZX Spectrum handheld will be worth it?
Did you ever watch the Computer Chronicles?
How come Violet had bigger knockers in Gamepad?
Rock Drummer 2, anyone ever heard of 1. How much of a red herring / in joke was rock drummer 2. Mentioned loads but never shown. What was the deal?
Noel Edmonds and his boxes hahahahah
Gary Barlow with the plush blonde hair, & Robbie Williams!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

lmcgregoruk It got released here in the UK
NEMO got released here?
lmcgregoruk
The VHS based games console. It was terrible.
I knew the Action Max got a limited release, and some video board games like Atmosfear, but I never knew the NEMO did.
lmcgregoruk
Yes, That's the one I was thinking of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_Max
Haha I rocked a joe blogs TV in the 90s lol
Did Andy just say "rubber johnny" to Robbie Williams?
Rock drummer 2 I think they lied to us
Dress code "A shit snooker player" Hahahaha!! WHAT?!??!?!!
Can play Noel tidy beard and his fruitmachines on PC too ;)
Good god. The man is everywhere.
these bad influence narrations are like sargon's shitposting channel
So funny how they had token girls on
Those character joysticks were awful. I used to have the Alien one and it was pretty much unusable.
Saw that same video. That's the Alien joystick I used to have.
Dracula wahnts to eht muh.
7:21 SECURITY IS VERY TIGHT, can't mention his name?? the fuck, it is just a stupid video game company!!!!!
All the children who review the games are always so down and depressed lol like they are being forced to do this against their will
they were reading a script
***** the people in charge can at least tell them to make it look like they enjoy being there though it is funny to watch them today
Well done for the really universal cultural reference. Noel Edmongs... Ugh.
I don't want to be mean, but my God that show looks horrible in
I'm falling in love with Violet
