Wow , that's a massive upgrade,i could still remember the normal SF2 from back then ,better player movement readability and faster ,more music ,more characters ,very impressive🤟😄👍
@@Asphodellife would this have been possible running from cartridge back in the day? i think youre running it on 1mb right? Could it have been done at a cost (was the mem available? not sure) or would it never been done due to it being impractical? hope that makes sense.
Graphics, animation, music.. INCREDIBLE work, fantastic!
Amazing character size, animation, speed and smoothness.
Very impressive. Looking forward to seeing the finished article. 🤞
I tried it on my real c64, impressive work!
Imagine this coming out back then. It would blow people's minds! Witchery I say!

Cant wait to see the final version!!!
Indeed; this is starting to look seriously good.

In this very rough form it is already miles ahead of the (crap) official US Gold release of SF2 back in the 90s!
Very impressive. Can't wait to see skyrim on the good ol bread bin😂
Patience
Amazing.
Awesome
6:47 Vega's moves are a bit odd... but really cool. I would have liked to see how long it takes to load on a real C64.
Quite instantly, as it's on Cartridge😃 Also the game is far from finished, so moves, graphics etc. are also not done yet

@@trydowave Well, yes, however the cartridges that came early in the C64's live were typically smaller than 1mb, but it would possible.
Great work. Technically this could not work on a base Commodore 64, right?
It can, and it does :)
