  • After humble beginnings working in an small Albuquerque McDonald's, Jeff Bezos has worked his way up the ladder of life ending up as the Owner / CEO of Amazon, The Washington Post and Blue Origin. However, such a journey has been far from simple. Jeff Bezos has had to take risks, endure downs, re-try after numerous failures and of course compete with the one and only Elon Musk. The rewards for Jeff Bezos have been incomprehensible, ending 2020 with a net worth of $182 billion dollars. This is, the Full Story of Jeff Bezos.
    Thank you guys for watching, like and sub if you enjoyed, Sunny XO ❤

    He was a princeton engineering graduate, had excellent academics throughout his life. Became the VP of a major hedge fund before 30. Then he started Amazon. He was always brilliant at what he did, let us all live in reality and acknowledge brilliance. He worked at Mcdonalds when he was in high school. This is similar to the false information circulating for years saying that Einstein was bad at Math.

      Exactly. People act like he's some kind of a hero, a role model. His story is not from zero to hero, his parents gave him $300k to invest it in amazon and he built the company by exploitation of workers and tax evasion. 99% of rich people are bad at the core.

      @@wiktorman to be fair he single-handedly increased employment in the states. That allowed people to provide for their families,etc. I don’t think he’s really as bad as some ppl try so hard to make him seem. Some people are just so intimidated by successful people that it just feels better to demonize them for their own comfortability sakes.

    It's really ironic how Amazon warehouses are literally replacing dead malls. It just shows that anything can change. If you told someone this in the late 90s they would have laughed at you.

      90s or even 2000s. I'm old enough to remember being apprehensive about ordering textbooks off amazon because we were all worried the books would be damaged or lost in the mail, then by the time I was in college amazon had become the gold standard for buying textbooks instead of your school bookstore or the McGraw Hill website. I even remember everyone being skeptical about Amazon moving away from an online bookstore to selling all kinds of products. Then they bought twitch and partnered with Whole Foods to get into grocery store market, and now have their own fleet of delivery trucks and have created strong competition for UPS and FedEx. Crazy how radically this company has changed in my short lifetime.

Elon came from a rich family but has always gave a sob story about how hard he has had it, yet Jeff seems to have nothing but praise for the people in his past and always has a lesson to tell rather than a sob story.

    • @MattDoesNothing
      @MattDoesNothing 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      I felt the same way as you sometime. Every time you came up with an idea, there will be someone who’s already in process of doing it or have the resources that we don’t have.
      And it’s not like there’ll be new “world changing” innovation like cars, Internet, online shopping or social media where some one like us could come up with while there’re already those guys.
      Let’s say, Elon or Jeff are more likely to make a new idea to become success more than you or me who also have that idea but have to start from scratch.

    • @asherpikesgoldenmoralcinem5770
      @asherpikesgoldenmoralcinem5770 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MattDoesNothing Yeah that’s so true, the only way to succeed at making your ideas and dreams a reality is through hard work to get rich or get backing. Then even though countless others are already making the idea and going ahead with it, you have the money to compete. And then Ofcourse you have to not only compete at that idea but u have to work with and beat the competition. So while it’s sad others already might be using your idea, don’t let it get your hopes down my friend. In a way every idea has already been thought just in different mediums and resources, all anyone has ever done is change the way that it is presented to the world. That’s a very broad definition, but it makes one realise it’s not so much coming up with the idea that matters. Sure it’s cool if you come up with an idea but what then? Someone else who learns about it could jump on it and use it to get to success and leave you in the dust. Wether or not it’s a new idea or one you jump onto and use, there’s no difference in the end. Just stick at it, believe in yourself and make that belief in yourself fact through failure and success.

    I work for Amazon and will say overall it's a good job with plenty of benefits that greatly surpass anything I've been a part of before. The team I work with is very customer driven but most of the managers in place does shine as an example of what makes the company good by having leaders that ask what can we do to make this better and I greatly admire the efforts behind that. Job is nowhere close to perfect but it is honestly the most fair I've had seen so far with so much room to grow if you are driven hard enough to get there. Also Amazon takes safety pretty much as seriously as profit (in my building at least) making it one of the most safety focused companies out there and has one if not the most diverse atmosphere of people I've ever seen.

    11:19 to expand on that tidbit, when Bezos pitched to his parents, was clear from the start that the company would likely fail (like 90% probability) and they never see that money again. Choosing to either way pass on their life savings was a huge act of faith from their part. Thankfully things panned out in their benefit as one can imagine, but I want to make it clear, even with Jeff Bezos' skill sets and expertise by that point, getting Amazon off the ground was one of those absurdly difficult near impossible tasks barely feasible for people.

      @Egg T if you think turning 3 dollars into 3 million is any bit as easy as turning 300k into 30 billion then you're completely delusional. A 300k investment loan from your parents is a massive head start that most folks will never have the opportunity to capitalize on.

      @@tylergribbin-burket1157 the difference between someone like you and someone like Bezos is that, let’s say you both were in the same position (no $ head start) - you would do the bare minimum to get by and complain that life’s not fair while Bezos would FIND A WAY to get to the $ top. There are those that will always find reasons why they can’t do something (excuses) and there are those that find solutions and find a way to make it work in the end.

    As a guy from Bangladesh, internet was not widely available among us until 2014 . Before that I only knew about few like Mark , Gates , Jobs , Warren Buffet and Ambani. I got familiar with billionaire class(Their companies) and with Amazon in late 2016 after that by watching stock price going that up I realized in 2017 this guy will become the richest or 2nd richest (anybody would guessed that). When I read about him I got to know he invested in Google just by meeting and listening to the founders and Eric knowing how great it will be. He personally wrote to his investors to trust in days to come when Amazon's stock will fall massively along with his net worth but soon it will grow back to massive level . This part made me admire his vision. He saw before anybody that the way his company is expanding, the immature stock market after the bubble burst of course won't realize his company and his leaderships potential soon. But when Amazon got back its track Bezos became the one.
