At first glance I thought it was a bit 'busy looking', but then, suddenly, it became a quilt of 12" blocks all with the same pattern, but each a different color. It no longer looked 'busy' to me. I love it. I've just acquired some Hoffman watercolor batiks that will be beautiful with that pattern! Thank-you, Jenny & crew!

Yet another fabulous video! I’ve chain-sewn blocks for years, but this is the first time I’ve seen the method done without cutting the threads before joining adjacent sections. Not only does it save time, it simplifies aligning the sections correctly. Brilliant! Thank you!

I’m a confident beginner at quilting and I still like to press all my seams so they nest together where points meet. Any tips on how to do this when you make a block then cut it up and sew it back together?!

I too, watching again, years later. Sometimes Jenny, you are more iinspiratiinal in some videos than otgers. Releasing us from certain constraints. This is disappearing hourglass no.3? Or have I missed others? Im thinking of putting tgem tigether as a sampler effort! Misding the big effect of simi lar blicks but honouring the enterprise!!

After you have completed a quilt top, you would then make a "quilt sandwich". You do this by choosing a backing and the appropriate batting and layer them all together. We would be more than happy to walk you through the steps if you would like to mail us your quilt top to finish for you.
