Im honestly very disappointed because they promised a ton of upsates yet stopped updating to do a diffetent game, the least they couldve done was add all of the features in first before working on another one. That just doesnt look good on lunis part from past games. Another problem was that ive seen multiple people upset from the last update because they didnt like it. I feel like they souldnt promise a ton of updates if theyre just gonna stop working on it to work on something else. They couldve added an update for gl2 users on the discord what they were gonna do.
Part of your second complaint is due to the fact that it’s holiday time. We got the Halloween update one or two weeks after the actual holiday, the last update was in the works from Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, New Year’s, and any others I’m missing. We were expecting much more since Lunime made the stupid decision of combining the two updates which you should expect there would be more bugs to deal with.
I’m starting to think Luni just made GL2 because Chiba animations were going to come out. I mean don’t you think it’s weird how Luni immediately announce GL2 just before Chiba animations was going to release before they had a setback? I honestly feel like Luni only did GL2 because he thought we were never going to use Gacha again. And the fact that we can’t even do anything about it. He said not to make ANY mods on the game otherwise we’d be copyrighted. I understand it’s his choice but genuinely we can’t make a mod for GL2 so we can continue getting new assets and stuff. WideDoggy even made a community post about GL2 and how Luni haven’t been updating it.

I'm pretty sure gl2 has been "abandoned" because Luni unlike last time decided not to give approximate dates of releases since you all know how it ended last time. He was supposed to give them when the update would be almost ready. BUT seeing this game not getting ANY updates whatsoever for almost half a year now makes me really think that this so called "abandoned" project really became abandoned. It's the same like with all games from the series - Luni makes them before abandoning them for the purpose of making something else again which as time went by just became more and more annoying.

There it says Luni is the creator, Charlotte is the co-creator, Merutoro10 made the screen title art, PurplX made the menu icons, and then there are two different sections for discord moderators and music. Then, if you go into translation, there are even more people working on that. There is no section called coders, which you’d expect to appear in a game. Considering there are contests to get assets in the game, you’d think imputing them into the game would be much faster since it’s provided.
Dude, hear me out! Last update we got only very little assets for hair and clothes and such. (Which i found EXTREMELY disappointing. The only big part of that update was the animated poses and Luni got rid of the static poses. I would have LOVED to have static poses because I stink at making poses :( We NEED static poses and LOADS of assets to make up for the past five months! I was so excited for the new hairs and everything and all we got were very little. Hoping next update is huge!!!

1:08 I plan to continue using GL2, I don't necessarily think it's a bad game. Though I do agree, I have been extremely disappointed multiple times about the update. I want the import background feature and props so bad. But I don't mind using green screens, I made a full gl2mm, and it looks great even with greenscreens. Plus, I mostly do tweening so it wouldn't be an issue. People who do skits like Moqaox(sorry if name spelled incorrect) also just use greenscreens and she still has great content. I do wish Luni new how to manage things better, because its somewhat frustrating at this point.
Honestly if we just got the background import feature I wouldn't care any more. That's literally all I want, Green screening is fine, but tiresome. I doubt I'll leave GL2 it's a good game and I already designed all my characters so… I just hope Luni says something. Even if it was another delay, it'd still be something.

I really wished Luni fixed that certain character slot glitch before abandoning the game, it's getting annoying spending hours making your character and the next thing you know, it vanished without a trace. I learned to export the codes first so I don't encounter the issue again but I'm hoping the characters don't have to pop out of existence from the character slots every time I play.
And not only that Gacha club still hasn’t been fixed… the import and export doesn’t work and things still don’t save unless you do a special “hack” thing..

Really, imo, he should’ve finished Wonderend 0 first. If I recall correctly, Wonderend was really his passion project as opposed to Gacha. Even tho I personally wouldn’t have played it, I would be fine with waiting for him to finish and then coming back to work on GL2. I hope that’s his plan but Luni doesn’t really commit all that much and does not communicate either. Thought he could be doing what TeamCherry is and what Studio MDHR did and is falling silent but working furiously on his next games tho I kinda doubt it with his lack of consistency.

Really, imo, he should’ve finished Wonderend 0 first. If I recall correctly, Wonderend was really his passion project as opposed to Gacha. Even tho I personally wouldn’t have played it, I would be fine with waiting for him to finish and then coming back to work on GL2. I hope that’s his plan but Luni doesn’t really commit all that much and does not communicate either. Thought he could be doing what TeamCherry is and what Studio MDHR did and is falling silent but working furiously on his next games tho I kinda doubt it with his lack of consistency.
That might be because Luni is working on both W0nder End and Gacha Life 2 updates. The the update might take a long time to complete and as well the W0nder End.
Just saying I respect Luni for making Gacha but I feel like that’s not good planning but I do hope your right that he is working on both projects
I think it's been abandoned i'm using it for a story but i'm taking a break from that to do a side story in gacha nebula as it's easier to use

It’s actually starting to get kinda annoying. Yes, he hasn’t kept promise a few times, but this is the icing on the cake. He promised to update Gacha life 2 5 MONTHS Ago. I’m honestly starting to lose hope, I mean we have been waiting for almost half a year for another update. I get he’s working on a horror game but couldn’t be have waited until after he finishes Gacha life 2 before making another because this is ridiculous. I might as well go to chibimation when it comes out. It’s honestly disappointing. I hope he does something soon.

Exporting codes from one game to another is impossible. Luni can’t do anything about that. Although I agree with you GL2 is kinda bad. Especially with the description glitch and the Pose layer.

Tbh, I never liked gl2 but still is disappointing to see that Luni has failed us again and again. Instead of him, updating and finishing the game and FIXING GACHA CLUB because some reason im addicted to that game, but now his doing wonder end 💀 it’s nice and all but finish what you started like 4 or 5 months ago.

I believe Luni doesn't care much about Chibimation, too. Chibimation is it's own game and Luni has nothing to do with that project
