Why was I tearing up w/you when you were talking the Grip series? Clearly my all time fav is the Grip trilogy; but Reel is currently on its way to me now, haha! I planning on reading My Soul to Keep for RomanceaThon next week and to keep me from resting through that series I checked out Long Shot at my library.

I've had my eye on Kennedy's Kingmakers Series and Queen Move and I'd planned for those books to be my first Kennedy Ryan but the way you so passionately and emotionally spoke about the Grip series, i picked up Flow yesterday and just finished it and omg? Thank you so much that was amazing! Im about to go into Grip now and I'm so excited and slightly scared for what they're going to be put through (based on how emotional you got while talking about it) but just had to stop by and thank you because I enjoyed this so much & it's been a minute since something has gripped me (pun not intended) 😅💖

I ordered Reel from Ryan's local bookstore. I bought it because of Lacey & Jes's bookclub. This will be my first book by her. I do have The Kingmaker. I bought it at The Bookworm box. If I enjoy them i will buy more from her local bookstore. 😁

I love both, but if you like audio books the Grip books are PERFECTION 😍🥰 so that's my favorite way to read them. The narrator for Grip is back as the hero in Reel too!
In Long Shot, how long does the domestic abuse last? I didn’t think I had a trigger, but I am having a hard time reading this book. The writing is beautiful and I want to get to the HEA but I’m having a difficult time getting past the abuse.
It's throughout the entire book. Up until the end. They do have a beautiful HEA. Hook Shot might be a better choice! There's past sexual abuse as one of the character's back stories, but not domestic abuse.
