I too was on the didn't want to read fourth wing cuz it seemed over hyped. But my book club chose it and I listened to the dramatic cast reading on hoopla and it was so much fun!! I would recommend listening to the next one that way if you continue to read the next book. Hearing them fight, run, jump was so cool, it kinda felt like listening to a movie. So needless to say I'm right there with ya on changing my opinion on it. ❤❤❤❤❤

I totally understand what you mean about enjoying something because it helps you bond with the people in your life. I have a couple friends who are really into Fourth Wing so it was way more fun to read and chat all about theories and such with them. Sometimes books can just be fun! 💗💗💗

I totally get revisiting a book because you aren’t in the mindset for it right then. That was me and One Dark Window. It just wasn’t what I needed right then. I’ll go back one day. Two tries to get through Fourth Wing as well. I have read all 3 now and I think I like the political intrigue, who is a good guy and who isn’t, figuring out what history is missing and why, and, of course, the dragons.

I am nearly up-to-date with the Psy-Changeling series so I am very excited that she is releasing another one this year. Also, Kresley Cole's next IAD book is out in March and Juliette Cross has two new releases this year😀

What a lovely reason to revisit a book and change your mind about it. I love that your daughter in law is a fellow reader and you get to bond over books you love. It's a bit daunting to revisit such a hyped book, especially since everyone has such strong opionions on it
