My introduction to Kevin Samuels was 2019 when he was critiquing Tomi Lahren, a white woman. I seen him check a white woman a couple times especially that one when a white was trying to speak badly on black women and Kevin shut that down instantly. And Kevin was 57.
Another person that Kevin Samuels remind me of was a character by the name of “Sarge” in a movie called Soldier Story. It’s a movie that came out in the mid-80s maybe early 90s but it had a star-studded cast of actors (Denzel Washington, Howard Rollins, David Alan Grier, Robert Townsend, etc.) Sarge was played by Adolph Caesar. In the movie. In the movie Sarge had a very brass tone and (kind of sinister at times - which I didn’t agree with) toward black soldiers he was responsible for but if you listen to “some” of the messages he was preaching it made a lot of sense. If y’all haven’t, I will suggest anybody to check that movie out. It is a great film!

Think the main problem is that most people don't want to hear a sad reality that most people have to face in life. Like I don't like how he worded his conversations in the way he talked, but he had a Mr. Rogers vibe but black version and it felt relaxed almost? I don't know how to describe it. Honestly wish people would stop disrespecting the dead and really try to be open to the thought of trying to come together as a community and try to understand each other. This has oddly turned into the battle of he-said/she-said.
