I saw some kid selling lemonade for 25c a cup the other day. I rarely see that anymore. The local pizza place let him set up a table right on the side of their building. I didn't even want any and didn't have any cash on me, but I just gave him the few bucks in change I had in my car. That lady is a menace lol
The first lady basically lost her business from that incident. She owned an edibles company, and all the dispensaries in SF dropped her products. She had no one to sell too. In bowling, it's polite to not throw the ball when the person next to you is also throwing the ball. But she went over board on it.
@6:40 the judge does have every right to hold the person in contempt. Doesn’t have to be about cussing it’s just disrupting the court. Judge gave him 180 days he probably served 30-45
If that. They usually just looking for a sincere apology. They can tack on penalties in increments of 15 days but it's totally up to them on when they will release them. Just don't act a fool while in jail and say you're sorry.
5:38 The lady that held up the elevator had multiple complaints from other people in the building before that video 10:23 the whole "Sovereign Citizen" bs should be an automatic arrest
That sheriff making the McPuns is named Grady Judd and he's funny as hell, y'all should watch a compilation of him. In the US Sheriffs are elected public officials unlike most other Law Enforcement cheifs and captains etc who are appointed by the city or what have you so Sheriffs often speak their mind because they're not afraid of political repercussions or getting fired because pretty much the only time you see them leave is if they lose their election
It's all subjective. But money has definitely corrupted some entirely good people, so yes, it can actually change you. I've always laughed at the false saying that they always were who they were. Kind of like flat earthers, it only sticks with the gullible crowd.
Small world. The Soup splash happened at a restaurant in Temple Texas right across from where I'm at. The lady was arrested and given 7 days jail work. I think 8 months adjudication and a fine. She can't get in trouble anymore essentially or what she did will make it even worse.
Just an FYI the Sheriff that called the idiot a mcnutt is Grady Judd. He's an interesting character out of Florida. In 2006 he was asked why deputies shot at a suspect 110 times. His reply was that was all the bullets they had. He went on to explain that the suspect had already murdered a deputy and was armed so no one was taking any chances.
I believe the first one is the Karen origin. If I'm not mistaken, she's the one that started the whole Karen thing. Kinda fitting that they put that one first.
I think Karen started as the name of the lady who eats other people's food out of the office fridge. But she was definitely one of the first real people to be called a Karen.
The musician that does the metal guitar reactions to Karen videos is Andre Antunes. He has also on his TH-cam channel some metal performances of some great classical music pieces.
The lady that says you don't need a license to drive is correct. My brother has won in court several times already. Police already stopped harassing him since he keeps embarrassing them.
Bowling etiquette is not to run up to throw your ball at the same time as someone in the lane next to you. Anyone who’s ever participated in a bowling league knows this. If it’s open bowling, a lot of casual bowlers don’t know this. It’s not worth the freak out that girl made it though. Whenever I would do open bowling, even if I was already ready to start my approach and some kid runs up in the lane next to me, I would wait for them to throw their ball.
I've always heard that a judge can give up to 1 year for contempt. But running a search gets me different answers (up to 180 days). Contempt of court is a misdemeanor that can result in jail time. Contempt of court can occur when someone disobeys a lawful court order, disrupts the court proceedings, or refuses to cooperate as a witness. The court can order up to 180 days in jail for punitive contempt or use jail time as a remedy to compel compliance. The amount of jail time is at the discretion of the judge. Maybe I'm confusing 'contempt' with 'criminal' charges being added on top of the contempt charged? Either way, that's a long time to spend in jail for giving the Judge attitude.
He didn't get the 180 for cursing but for disrespecting the court and precedings... and the judge has all discretion to jail plaintiffs, defendants, lawyers, and people in the gallery too.
I've seen loads of these. They almost always end up only serving the original sentence, without the extra time enhancements. Some judges even get investigated for going rogue with the extra sentencing.
I had to take several breaths after watching the lady that threw the soup. I can take verbal insults all day, but that is a no no. She wouldn't have made it out of that store still walking.
911 is only for life-threatening and emergency situations. Her very call to 911 about the kid selling water was in fact a chargeable infraction as she was misusing the service. 911 is not for complaints, petty gripes, questions, and annoyances.
That 2nd lady. I mean, I judge people by their first names too, I think everyone does. You hear a kid named Rayquanishqua is coming in, you sorta know what to expect..
I can't believe people can't sort things out themselves and feel the need to ring the police for minor grievances 😂 You could get fined for doing that in my country!
When you guys get more Office reactions in Patreon under your belts, I’ll be on that Patreon. Looking forward to it. I just never liked the first season, but season 2-4 are good. Gold, Jerry. Gold.
I have no idea what I'm talking about but a misdemenor in the US can go up to a year in jail so the judge probably started low with that guy and was willing to max it at the cap.
What usually happens most of the time is the judge lets them spend a night in jail to think about what they did, then after the person apologizes for their behavior the judge usually cuts them a break and releases them with time served. most judges understand that emotions can get involved, however, an individual who either refuses or doesn’t learn their lesson can spend a substantial amount of time in jail for contempt, if one day doesn’t induce penitence, it might require 5 or 10 days. 😁 “vee have vays of making you talk, vee surely do” 😏
30 days in jail for speaking. Per word! Sounds like a punishment handed out by the Third Riech not something a modern and civilized society does to it citizens. Its a courtroom, full of adults. They deal in the most disturbing crimes every day. Yet this word is to harsh!
