Huge chemical plant explosion outside Chicago causes major fire

A massive explosion at Rockton Chemtool, just over an hour outside of Chicago, caused major fires on Monday as huge plumes of smoke continue to hover over the area for days to come, local authorities report.
A mandatory evacuation was put in place for all homes and businesses within a mile of the explosion according to the Rockton Police Department, with at least one person, a firefighter, being transported to a nearby hospital. 70 employees who worked at the plant were evacuated as emergency crews work to quell the raging fire and smoke, which will likely take days authorities said Monday. The plant manufactures lubricants, fluids and other grease products, all of which are flammable and likely contributed to Monday's massive conflagration.

your logic is flawed. a vessel can explode by over pressurization, then the contents of that vessel could find a source of ignition. I realize you're being comical, but that's reality. and I'm not saying that that is the case here. I'm just pointing out what you may be missing.
