- A large fire is burning near the Everett waterfront. An apartment building under construction caught fire on W. Marine View Drive around 6 p.m. Thursday -- www.king5.com/...

Absolutely. I’m out of town and my house is 1/2 mile south of the fire up the bluff. I just hope no one was hurt .

The residents on the bluff overlooking the waterfront and the marina have been opposed to the development since its inception. A lot of disgruntled property owners with view property that will be looking at 266 apartments.
My money is on arson, and the perp lives on the bluff.

This ember and many smaller on were found in my yard and neighbors approx 2miles from fire... I can imaging the embers down on grand?? Wow crazy...hope all is well and safe.. well i cant add pics anyways they are aleast 8..inches in diameter Really!!! U kid u not🙄😲☹

Not sure why cities by the coast or near lakes don't have air tankers. One air tanker could have made a huge impact. Seen them in California and they are amazing.

@@carolineirwin2716 I don't know why they build with wood then put the fireproofing on. In australia, if we're building with wood, which we wouldn't be allowed to like that, it'd already be covered in retardant before you bought the wood.

I live in the marina saw the whole deal.
I used to live in Marina there, 91, 92... That spot used to be massive boat shop (s) dry-dock, and a bunch of little / midsize rental shops for wood boats...Jimbo, Stan-o , Seamus ..any those old pier rats still around ?....Arrrrrghhj
