🟣In this video I will be going over the different types of Tears of the Kingdom players, the sequel to Breath of the Wild. While many types originate from BOTW even more have emerged because of the creativity that TOTK has! This video is super relatable to any of you guys. Enjoy!

As a Duplicator, I just want to be able to fight without having to worry that the sword I grinded hours for won't break. In BoTW and vanilla ToTK, every enemy grouping I come across isn't a "oh shit lets go fight that", it's a "do I really want to waste durability on this?" and results in me skirting around most enemies. But when I dupe weapons or items, every fight is a fight that can be fun without the chore of dealing with farming more shit. Weapon durability isn't fun when it results in you having to pick your battles, it's just a chore.
Yeah, I agree weapon and shield durability can be tough sometimes
Who knows, we might get DLC after all🤔
I would like to add one: the completionist!
This player walks around Hyrule with their Korok mask on at all times and their shiekah sensor is usually set to treasure chests.
One of their most used abilities is the camera, and they always pull out their camera when they see anything from a sword to a tiny little bird, even if they are 99% sure they already have a picture of it.
They have max hearts and stamina early on in the game, and all 152 shrines are completed along with the depths fully mapped out with all 120 light roots.
They also don’t mind googling the answer or pulling up an online map to find the nearest Korok.
By the time this player beats the game, they have at least 50% completion (displayed in the bottom right of the map screen)
Inspired by my mom, who has 100% in BotW and 75+% in TotK.
Yeah the completionist will definitely be on the part 2 I am making!

I wear the korok mask because I like the look of it. The korok sensing is just a nice bonus
I’m definitely an explorer. I avoid fights because I haven’t found any good weapons yet and wasn’t willing to lose material fused weapons until reaching Terry Town the moment I realized it was possible to save materials before breaking.

I was an explorer at the beginning my priority was getting all the map despite not being prepared for strong enemies
Also since i couldn't fight anything
I sent zonai machines to do my work
I’ve played it for 5 hours total so far. Whole map is already done.
I'm a mix of nostalgic and explorer. I constantly checked the hero's path mode to see where I've been on the map and try to go to every single area that I haven't yet

I come under a new class: Barbarian, has maxed out fierce diety/Barbarian armour set, a lynel mounting weapon, a silver lynel scimitar of the seven, a whole inventory of 5 shot savage lynel bows and a hylian shield with naydras horn on it, this player usually plays for combat, sometimes combat like a clipper, sometimes with a whole new style, this player has also barely done any koroks, shrines, lightroots and zonaite work. Only uses zonaite for combat.

Me too, although I don’t know what it should be called. It’s like a mix of Fancy, Royal Guard, and some other things.

@@HyruleTown it is always missed in types of players videos, as not all people who enjoy combat are clippers.
2:02 false representation, he would have to go through an effort outside of the essential story to find the tunic by going into the cave to loot it.
I think that this armor is on the awakening island and near the tutorial shrine in the Great Sky Island so it is on the way of the main story thats why many story only players collect it
I'm an explorer for sure, the first 10 hours of my playthrough I ignored Lookout Landing and just fucked off to look at cool stuff. I still seek out and fight lots of monsters though.

I am no good at building, but do it anyway because it's fun!
I also like to fill the map and avoid fighting, but I do not help koroks

I like the game, jusdt travelling around collecting and fighting everything there is.
I like the environment and fighting system. Although im not too good with the latter I am learning :)

My favorite spot to go to is the depths where Naydra hangs out at.
Personally I didn't care for the dragons until actually getting next to one, very chill and cool to zoom around the place with. Acting like homies

I do not regret buying Tears pf the Kingdom and Elden Ring. Possibly the best two games I've ever played. Only complaint for Tears is that combat is too easy most of the time. As for what kind of player I am? I suppose Builder on his slow descent to Psychopath.
Haa, 😃. Yeah Totk Combat is relatively easy
I am the player that attacks NPCs, Hates Zelda, Finds rare armour by accident, and I'm also the player that in BOTW I accidentally stumbled into the sanctum without any arrows or sheilds and beat the bosses without realizing.

Im definitely the islander. I always and i mean always wanted to be up in the heavens and find sky islands. It's just so beautiful especially having light dragon flying all over Hyrule. I only wish to see more ginormous sky islands
Yeah the sky islands are probably the best part of ToTk , especially the Great Sky Island!
i am an explorer but i love fighting! (explore is beautiful, you find always something intresting or very nice)
Perfectionist, and collector: having 100% the game
One more category: the players stuck in botw. These players are too used to how things worked in botw and don't really like to use fuse or ultrahand. They think that a 60 damage sword is really high damage when 192 damage swords already exist
That is a very good type. Part 2 is already out but I will definitely include this category on part 3 which is on the making!
In botw I was the I NEED MORE BOSSES person cause after my first divine beast it took me a week to free the rest

Not exactly, this was part 1. Part 2 will be up in Friday, with the complisionist and many other types you didn't know existed

That is a good question. I would say a psychopath if you use them against enemies!

I go around with fierce deity armor but wearing majoras mask and the fairy sword (its called the fairy sword not fierce deity sword!!!) And I attached one of each main boss drop to the FAIRY SWORD to display. Also lynels aint got shit on gleeoks im no mere lion hunter im a fuckin dragon slayer. My home is a just a collection of cool looking weapons and shields. I also like sailing because wind waker was awesome. My zonai builds are 10 cannons on something...or beam emitters. Also I fill my weapon inventory with boomerangs attached with emitters or gleeok horns because yeah it looks cool.

Closest was Explorer, but I also focus on combat and quests.
