Throughout the many years of playing battle cats, there has never been a huge bomb quite like this. In this battle cats video we will talk about how a certain unit completely shifted the beginner meta and beyond. How much of an impact will this unit have in the future? How much will PONOS regret their decisions as well? We don't know what the future holds, but it could be a rocky road if PONOS continues releasing units like this!

If you're a beginner wondering "Does Courier work here?" The answer is yes.
If you are in the beginning to mid game, the answer is yes 99.99% of the time.
Just bring him to every stage, it'll hardly hurt. Trust me.

I got Courier Cat when I was close to finishing SOL (around 6 chapters before Mecha-Bun). I heard that this cat was strong but I didn't really realize how strong until I tried him out. This cat is insanely broken relative to how easy he is to obtain. Elemental Duelist just gets trashed as the 4-Crown Red Buster because of Courier. Even outside of 4-Crowns, this unit just completely wrecks Red stages.
PONOS never creates rebalances for cats, instead they just opt for powercreep. Because of this, I fear how they would design the future endgame stages, especially with Behemoth enemies in mind
they only ever changed two cats.
Dark lazer had area attack. After she gained talents she got nerfed with single target.
And momotaro had permafrezze without talents. Then they changed that. Now we have talents and he permafrezzes again.

What's funny too is how courrier made a lot of other cats basically irrelevant like bath cat. There is almost not a single level in the game when you want to use bath over courrier. Maybe Crazed Moneko Moon, and i still did it with courrier anyway.
I'm at UL30, i have like 90% of my units true formed even Ubers, and i still didn't got Bath Cat's true form.

Isn’t courier countered by that one collab Otta and literally nothing else? Other than that, Bath fails to be as effective as Courier, whether it be rushing Prof. A. or dealing with hordes.
Elemental Duelist I'm pretty sure does actually have more anti red DPS than Courier at the same level, plus he can upgrade to + levels wich definitely makes Duelist stronger

I just thought of a wildest theory. Is Ponos intentionally pushing beginners through the content faster?? Like how clash of clans lower upgrade cost of smaller townhall players for example. Is it unfair? I think so…unfortunately. But it sure does speed things up

I think this is the case because without courier, new players will be so far behind people that told them about the game and now with end game taking like 3 years to reach, new players will just feel left behind and they will never catch up.

I actually didnt know how strong this cat was till now since i recently got back into the game after not playing for over a year but had to restart and just got to cats of the cosmos after getting every treasure before it, havient got this cat yet.
I stopped playing this game for a year after 5-6 years of dedication to it. Since I lost my original account a while back, I decided to restart with the Returner Mode pack. I was a bit worried since before I had heard about some of the struggles that come with buying Returner Mode like low level basics, no gacha units, etc. I looked back at the some of videos on all the updates I missed to see if there was anything new that I could use in early game. You have no idea how many Courier Cat montage videos I saw when looking. I quickly figured out how to get him, and proceeded to grind the hell out of all the Behemoth Culling stages. Took a bit of trouble, but I eventually got him. I never actually watched the montages, so I didn't have a good idea of how strong he actually was. I proceeded to streamroll through ITF chapter 2 and 3 in just a month. This cat is actually insane.
Maybe they should’ve locked behemoth content behind itf 3 completion or something so it doesn’t destroy early game so hard. It still wouldn’t fix the problem with the absolutely busted magnifications on behemoth enemies in the mid to end game though. Honestly they should’ve revised courier when they had the chance, because now any behemoth stage within end to late game in the future will require courier or you’re guaranteed to have no shot at beating the level uberless. I see the only way they could fix this problem is adding another strong anti behemoth, but that would probably just further magnify the huge double edged sword that courier fabricated into existence

@@lancetheking7524 It wouldn’t be too surprising, but the fact there’s only one behemoth slayer uber even after how long it’s been since behemoths released makes me think that ponos is trying to limit the meta and force people to use the eggs and not just ubercarry

Big fan of the jackie chun ost on the background, also when I got courier man he can even be useful in advent stages its insane how ponos is heading into what might be a massive power creep
I like courier as a unit because I like stronger gameplay. I rather Ponos increase the thresholds of what units do and to do that they're probably just gonna have to sacrifice the decade old beginner phase.
They might even be trying to shift to Uber focused gameplay because the stages they've been releasing like barons don't seem like your supposed to be regularly beating them with regular units.
I feel like they could of just made it req a epic cat fruit seed but you can’t get this early game so they wouldn’t need to sacrifice the early game
I've obtained courier after the whole ItF and nyandam only only because i wasn't really interested in progrssing further. But even from where i'm now (slowly beating cosmos 2) it's a very strong unit. Thank god i had great experience passing previous chapters and SoL without it
8:46 is courier cat useful in this stage
I got courier when the update was released. It was broken even though I was already at late game but it was practically the best solution against behemoths until aku master A is released which is a good enemy that I guess would require the conventional meatshield + ranged attackers to counter them. Courier is basically what you use against behemoths because they made dasli less useful with all those new surge immune enemies
The LD and spammability of courier somehow helped me with lil bird awakening stage. Turned what I expected to be a 20 minute run into less than 5 minutes
Should look at it as an opportunity to make more videos. A new guide/strategy series featuring Courier. I went after and obtained Courier to beat Last Gang (Capone's Jail - chapter 19). I think I was done with ItF3 at this point though.
You're definitely the go-to channel for me to go to when stuck on anything in Battle Cats; you're very helpful man, keep it up!
I just got(today) this cat after the entirety of all the treasures in ItF and EoC, and far enough to get all special legends except for the last wave imminitu legend. I have most manics (just missing manic dark 🫠) and they are all lvl 30. I had pretty bad rng with the behemoth stones so it took me a while and at the same time i wasnt really focused on getting him. Glad I was able to struggle and have a good time without him.
Never got him until after CotC 1, but those stages were still extremely easy even without courier. He helps a lot with SoL, but his main usage for me was 4*.
Balanced evo for courier:
1 epic behemoth stone
3 epic catfruit
1 gold catfruit
5 red catfruit
3 red behemoth stones
I think this is too expensive.

@@Slimedragon785V fair, im in midgame so my view of balanced pricing and what is too expensive a bit differently. id add an extra 5 behemoth stones of every color (not epic) except yellow which only gets 3 to the cost of mine
I'm here about a month and a half later to say, courier is absolutely busted at level 50. I've been clearing out SoL 3 and 4 crown and UL. Anytime there's a red unit or lesser unit, I opt in to put courier in. He's a monster. He's made more than half of SoL 3/4 crown a cake walk. He absolutely destroys red UL enemies. He's a menace. I have most anti-red units that aren't Ubers/Legends and even if I did have legends/ubers, I'd still opt for Courier. Heck he's had a more permanent place than the Fest Ubers(mainly because he's more spammable). Courier, busted.

they basically are going to be the same thing
ponos creates a unit to counter a hard thing(angels and behemoths)but wopssie doopsie its too broken so ponos makes that trait enemies be waay stronger to counter the unit and so balanced around that unit and then ponos tries to make counters of that trait for that unit and are obnoxiously powerful(like high mag angel gory and St dober for angels and Magamojo for behemoths)

I got courier around the end of CotC, and didn't evolve it till around mecha bun, and didn't use it more until alot of behemoth stages were out, and I was in UL
i watched this video while obtaining courier cat. Im UR 1823 rn, didnt touch future ch 2, and dont have crazed wall
Courier cat is a red destroyer, he has carried me for most of the levels with red enemies and also helped me get crazed moneko.
Courier has carried me through the whole game and I'm thankful that ponos gave us this free op unit so that I don't have to grind for XP and user rank to increase the level cap
I chose to evolve him because he looked better to me than the rest of the stone evolution units and I rarely use him(until now of course)
ok i'm definitely going to grind for this monster (I feel kinda sad for knowing an unit this op AFTER finishing cots 3 and SOL first star)
Courier is like a 1st form Ultra souls uber but no gacha, easy to obtain and usable in 4 stars.

i played for about a year right before zombies came out and quit, i started my new main account about 7 weeks ago and already am past where i was (itf 3 all gold with mina on my first account) i have all golds up to chapter 7. 29/40 cotc 2, zombies beat ch 1-4 but only just got mina. i also ignored courier cat until about a week ago when i got him and he is dumb
also leaderships didnt exist when i played for the most part and that is a HUGE reason i was able to progress
i got courier when i was close to end of UL because well.. he got released when i was that far in the game
CotC 3 and like SoL 45 I was nearing end game when it came out and it took me a while to realize how busted courier was and now it's ridiculous

Hey bro I just finished chap 1 and I got 3 ubers. The mighty dreadnot (I also evolved it to B.C.S LIONHEART)
The kubilan pasalan (evolved into 2nd form also)
And the uesugi kenshin cat (did not evolve it yet)
Should I use all of them? Or should I use only 2?
The majority of ubers are going to be overpowered in the early game, but I strongly recommend holding off on resource dumping into them. Unfortunately, those ubers are decent at best, and you're better off leveling/true forming stronger units like hip hop cat, mer-cat, and rover cat (for ITF and COTC). It'll pay off as you progress further
I got him right when he came out and from that moment, he became a main stay is any generalist set up I had. And because of his speed, he is great for speedrunning stages if your just impatient like me. Against reds he is probably the strongest because even if he only get 1 hit off, he can still be recharged quickly. Another thing I will say is because I had gotten lucky, I have access to both a research up L and M at the same time, which brings courier cat's recharge time to the lowest it can be in the game. Busted.

@@jcpwgames I got the cats for both Bad Guys (Evil cat, Lasvoss, and LIl' Nyandam) and Cheating Heart (Detective Vigler and Madame Sumo). If you also manage to get Detective Vigler, you can pair it with Cool Japan to get both a M Research up and a M Damage up which is also really good.

Courier cat is a massive blunder to game balance from Ponos. They just destroyed the progression line of early game because of one sole mistake. One bad thing about Ponos generally is they focus on expanding their content instead of improving. This leads to them balancing a unit by making tougher enemies, making old units relevant by adding a whole new mechanic (talents), and etc. This leads to an explosion in complexity and random variables which can be very hard to control.

Eh rajakong isn’t that bad, because we have mushroom that is actually a good unit in its own right

I started about 3-4 months ago on a new account and got courier about halfway through SOL, I had literally zero clue how broken he was in behemoth and red focused and just in general stages until I finally decided to check out battle cats TH-cam. I’m around 3/4 of the way trough SOL rn since I’m working on beating all the adverts and boosting my favorite cats. (Balrog, bullet train, cameraman, mighty thermae, etc) and I’ve been throwing courier in as a throwaway unit when I have a free slot as a general attacker. I also literally just started COTC and I’m still in chapter 1 because I’m at the stage where I should probably already have every anti starred alien treasure and he’s come in handy when it comes to unit restriction stages.

how the hell do you get ANY crazed cat before ITF 2!? this is my second playthrough after not playing for 5 years (just finished ITF1 and EOC 3) and I Remember not getting any crazed units till way after ITF 3.
Getting all crazed cats before itf
1 is pretty easy with level 20s. (Originally crazed cats released before ITF was even a thing, so this is technically the normal way) But now most people just get the crazed cats whenever, but crazed whale is a goat for a lot of early game stages so I always recommend getting it before ITF

Got Courier Cat after completing Manic Mohawk, Eraser, Flying, and King Dragon lol
I've been trying to get courier for the last month and a half and still don't have it
I wanna get courier cat and I want u to tell me who I should replace. I'm in itf chapter 2. I currently use Crazed Wall cat, eraser cat, ramen cat, cameraman cat, cyborg cat, can can cat, octopus cat, wargod yukimura, cyberpunk cat, and megaphrodite. I have plus level for all my gacha cats except for megaphrodite. (btw cyborg has 40+3 levels)

Without courier Cat we wouldn’t have to be dealing with the nightmare that is is 200% Wild Doges. Without Courier we most likely would have gotten egg units that actually are useful against their specific behemoth. Life without Courier would be so much better. But alas we are stuck with Red Enemy’s nightmare.
Courier is as useful as like a top tier super rare. But bc he is a rare, he also destroys 4*.

I feel like some of the infamous stages like no return flights have just been shat on.. People will breeze past them now and with no challenge it’s just no fun. I liked having to strategize and I really loved my journey through the game. Kinda stale now :/

Is courier cat useful for the stage?
I got courier, the god in disguise exposed, around CotC chapter 1, and hadn't even gotten urururururun, and I can say it's still broken. It also is usable in 4-crown, deleting at least 1/3 of 4-crown SoL without much thinking, making you question why Ponos really did this. Was an employee or several on something during the making of courier, or did they make courier for the grand scheme of things? Either way, courier will shape everything. In short term, he will make everything easy. But it comes at the cost of later game becoming true suffering, beyond even courier with the stackability and insane stats, thanks to behemoths already having crazy health, and I am worried to see what is next in terms of behemoths and expanded late game.
TL;DR Courier is broken everywhere, deletes a lot of 4-crown, and has insane stats. As you would expect, these traits for ONE cat would make future content a nightmare, beyond current difficulties.

Me personally as the Battle cats player since 2013, I think that the addition of courier cat into Battle Cats is a good thing because throughout the game, from early until end game, most enemies are stat-based and too powerful, which makes most of the enemies too broken if not be dealt properly, particularly by using dragon and paris strat. This is too harsh for the beginners. By adding courier cat, the beginners and mid players can have much easier time in progressing throughout the game because the courier meta can deliver humongous amount of DPS to beat stat-based broken enemies, especially against bores, bersekories and many others.
I would agree that getting courier is very easy but nevertheless, it still requires decent grinding effort to obtain behemoth stones and strategies to beat Casaurian Ahurijo and Wild doges in the early game, these enemies are no joke. I don’t think that courier should be nerfed as lots of players have already got used to use courier so often and it still has its own flaws which make it a little bit balanced.
