Why would you put "Fortress" against "Melting" if you invested 2k spent on "Fortress" in your "Melting" with range or spam "Crawler", or "Stormcoler" with range and fast recharge, or "scorpions"... There are so many options... but you chose "Fortress". You have a higher rating than me. Explain why you decided in the match that "Fortress" is a good solution against "Melting"?
@@SurreyEZ Mid game they were definitely connecting long enough where it would have made a difference, but late game you're probably right right. I wonder if you got it mid game before they could get levels if maybe that would have fixed the late game issue and then you could maybe get some fire or HE stormcallers to wipe out their shielded fangs that were giving you trouble toward the end.
i just think after like round 5-6 its mondatory to press both buttons since its so much value for 200 or is it too early? Also was it worth upgrading the command center sinc he has melting points anyway - or idea was -2 second debuff timer?
I have watched a few of your videos and I think you have some negative bias against Scorpions or something because you seem to do anything to not use them? Would they not have been quite ideal to deal with the Melters? You even had 2 for free 6:28, right after the first Melter showed up but you didnt even seem to consider them a option. Might not have won you the game but I doubt the opponent would have gone that heavy into Melters if you had them on the field since they would 'melt' the Melters unless they could turn around the chaff war.
You seem to really go heavy on techs (5 in round 5) - is there a specific reason for that? Most people recommend getting your first tech in round 4/5 earliest
Ooof unlucky. The Nuke timing was bad for you here in so many ways. Tend to favour out ranging Multi-Melters with MPs of my own or Storms with EMP and then drown them with Wasps or other chaff. Have had some success with Range+Acid Scorpions into almost all ground giants too so there's definately a variety of lines that work here. Think more Mustangs could've worked too but they can become a bit of a liability if you can't reach critical mass. Good game anyway!
To me it seemed like stormcallers maybe were the answer? Storms to effectively crush shields, melting points and arclights. Phoenix have low dps to kill melts if not leveled up.

Holy Moly!
what abaut scorps vs range and acid? plus 2-3 storms vs electro
I feel ignite on the fangs would have been nice.
i think they die too quickly to the multibeam, then i have to go range on the and then it's too much investment

melting points is one of the reasons i dont play this game anymore
HD and his melters, a classic.
Yea haven't played against him in months, forgot he does this
I would have tried to counter with Scorpions
isnt it worth selling 1 sniper to buy +10% dmg or 15% health?
probably

sub marksman
Does the multishot on MP is still bugged when emp'd? so much better to build MP with range than phoenix with emp if its not fixed imo.
its bugged still i'm 9% sure

damage don't matter, just the emp. They are better but can be intercepted so it's kind of hard to know which is actually better
