How did You manage to install it? I have Silvia Pro and the stock shower has rounded edge which fits perfectly. My SR 200 RNT has the same problem (3:02). A little bit too small
and what about cleaning ? what do you do everytime you wanna clean with chemical detergents? you diassemble the shower screen ?i read that is sensitive to chemical
First pull looked like a lot of channeling. Second shot looked better. However. How fresh were those beans roasted before using them? Seemed like they had a lot of co2 still trapped
Two problems with this video: Don't fumble around with a screwdriver. 1. Use a socket wrench with an 8mm socket. 2. The screw itself isn't an issue. If you're indenting your puck a lot then you are over filling your basket. Use the correct basket size for the dose like 18g or 20g. The screw can make a slight indentation of about 1-2mm but makes no difference in coffee taste or extraction.
Is this the same as the IMS Nanotech Bezzera/Rancilio Shower Screen that I ordered from Whole Latte Love? I inistalled it on my Bezzera BZ13 and I immediately noticed that I need to adjust my coffee grind size to be coarser. Anyone experience this?
Hi Hoon, I have an extraction issue with my Breville, although i tried many fresh whole beans types but i just keep getting high pressure gauge, long extraction time and sour taste !! What i’m doing wrong ?:( Thanks
@@shaunb813 yes but he also asked or mentioned a sour taste. Don't sour tastes come from course grinds that are under extracted? And aren't bitter tastes from too fine of a grind? As as the slow pull indicates an over extraction?
I did the same upgrade. Excellent choice on that screen and gasket.
I upgraded to IMS baskets as well. Game changer.
The original shower screen is self cleaning, how is it with that the ims screen?

just did this same thing and it helped a ton

does the IMS shower screen and screw still leave an indentation on the puck before pulling a shot?
Did you find out?
@@antonhelsgaun I believe it did. I just ended up buying a deeper 18g-21g basket.

Is it with or without pre-infusion? I mean the shot
Is it possible to get shower like this for breville machines? i have duo temp pro
Hi, thanks for a great video. Where can I buy just the flat screw from? Thank you 🙏
You're after an M5 12mm button head or flat head screw.
@@Bobby4Forum Thank you!🙏🏿

What the size of the screw?

You are grinding too fine, try a coarser grind. If it flows too fast, grind finer. If it flows too slowly, grind coarser

The scale listed in your description is the g dealer but the one in your video isn't the g dealer. I was wondering which scale it was?
I think it's timemore
1:37 ?
Would this be OK for rancilio l4 or s24 .
You have to check the specs.
From 4:23 there's no screw in the shower screen. How is that possible?
that's the basket not the shower screen. the shower screen is above that
You said the word sour. So, too fine of a grind makes it taste sour? And too course of a grind makes it taste bitter?
Flip that and you got it.
all that equipment... awful extractions and video quality... Remove the plastic off your machine!
