Her voice is unreal. I would pay to hear her sing this in a real cathedral
This is something you would hear in a haunted cathedral and be terrified and captivated.
As Speckehfabian walked through the cathedral, They stumble upon the area missing a few pews. They suddenly hear bells. That doesnt make sense, The priest said no one was here other than the two. And as the bells continue ringing, A voice of an angel begins singing.
Groundskeepers still say, that they can hear the tapping of dancing, and a hollow voice singing, as is Anastasia herself dances, and wonders the hollowed, large halls. Searching evermore for the family she’s lost. Ever seeking to find lost memories. Once, every December (joking of course, there’ve been no accounts. But it’s not too far fetched that the palace would be haunted).
Afterall, Its just an urban legend...

POV: You are a tourist visiting the royal palace of the long passed Romanovs. You hide out in the building, waiting for nightfall. You elude guards and groundskeepers, to find yourself in the empty ballroom. Suddenly, you feel a chill on your neck. No windows are open. You feel something touch your arm, you twist around frantically. You rest your eyes upon a girl, bloody, yet she glows an eerie blue like moonlight. A lonkey expression stains her face, as she offers her hand in kind. Hesitantly, you take it. Forcefully, but as you step forward, now, gently, she guides you to the center of the ballroom floor. She begins to sing a tale of woe and sorrow, a tiny of anger and regret lines her voice. As she sings, your fear begins to desipate, melting to empathy. You look around the ballroom, as she sings, figures dancing, glowing like starlight, gradually materializing before your gaze. The girl sings louder as windows burst open, the wind picks up, as glass begins to shatter. The girl stops suddenly and looks past you. The guards have found you. Within the blink of an eye, with frigid winds, and a bellowing scream, the girl entraps the men in snow, before freezing them all in ice. The girl grasps you harder, then slowly looks up at your now sacred expression. Her face turns from once happy, once angry, to now sad once more. She then whispers: “You are not one of my people? Or my family, are you? ……Thank you for the dance”. She smiles as tears stream down her cheeks, beginning to freeze. “Dasvidanya”. As soon as the girl lets go, you wake up on the ballroom floor. A bullet covered in blood in your chilled palm. You race out of the building, evading guards, as you run outside, the bellowing winds seem to be singing the same song as the girl did, becoming quieter as you get further away from the palace.

it’s from the original broadway musical :) i’m not sure if it counts as a cover since it’s from an official adaptation of the movie? all of the songs in the broadway musical are by the same writer and composer as the movie :)
i personally highly recommend the show, if you just search “anastasia the musical” on youtube you’ll find a lot of clips :)

I hope everything is going well for you and I wish I could help with the anxiety, but I am undiagnosed too (I was at a psychologist but she didn't say anything nor did tests for almost a year, so I didn't go back). All I can say is do something that calms your senses (like listening to music, eating your favorite snacks, smelling something like lavender or menthol etc), it helped me a lot

Out of experience the hall in a Cathedral is diffrent loud and yes the instrument halls too or its just because i had my play with the orgel and not the piano it almost like 2 or 3 voices

I wonder if this captures how my Mennonite great-grandmother felt when reflecting back on escaping the Bolsheviks in Russia; the same ones who'd go on to kill Anastasia. Perhaps she looked back on her childhood fondly, remembering all those wintry Decembers... when my own heart aches to see Russia and the old Mennonite colonies. Someday, when there is no war, my dream is to visit that beautiful land where I'll dance to this song, remembering my roots.
