Great part of this video, A lady who explained everything very beautifully. I was in Kerala for 6 months and visited Places like ( Thekkady, Munnar, Kochi, Allepy and Varkala) ) my own visiting was never give me these type of information about place and food which you are serving on your all Kerala Episode. Great work Sir.
Its worth mentioning, I have always noticed that you will always buy something or the other from local shops or vendors even if you like it or not to keep them motivated and happy. Very generous and a good deed from you. GOD BLESS YOU SIR!!!
We went to kerala last week for four days. We stayed - two nights in munnar, one night in allepey, one night in kovalam. Day 1 - Reached Munnar from Cochi by busin the morning. Booked cloud valley hotel in the munnar city as we didn't go thru our own vehicle. Rented an auto for 800inr per day. Did our brunch from hotel gurubhavan, karimeen fish(very famous in kerala) and went for sightseeing. Covered photo point, matupetty dam, elephant ride, speed boating, echo point, top station, tea gardens, movie shooting locations, and in the evening went for sword show which was fascinating. Day 2 - Rented the same auto for 1000rs for whole day. Covered many waterfalls, tea gardens, pothemedu viewpoint and enjoyed kathakali performance in the evening. Day 3 - Went allepey from munnar in the morning, reached allepey in the afternoon. Checked it in our houseboat in the afternoon. Served delicious lunch on boat. Enjoyed boat ride through the backwaters, went on an island, bought some fish for dinner, ayurvedic massage is also famous there for relaxation, went sunset point on the boat, did photography. And in the evening served snacks. Night we stayed in a port and fininshed our dinner. Day 4 - Checked out from boat in the morning and catch our bus for trivandrum. Reached trivandrum in afternoon and went to kovalam beach which is arount 10km from trivandrum from auto. Kovalam beach reached fininshed our lunch on a seaside restaturant with traditional seafood. And enjoyed the evening in the lighthouse and kovalam beach. The beach is full of foreigners. I have captured the whole trip thru my cam th-cam.com/video/Xy0VHzcJhlo/w-d-xo.html
Whole Munnar series is excellently planned, filled with rich information, experiences, travel and food. Thank you for making these wonderful enchanting videos for us.
just watching your show brings so much of joy. I notice one thing today that for last 30 mins there is a big smile as i am watching your show. Your kerela tour is awesome.

Really enjoyed harish sir can’t imagine the food level of cooking is in Kerala and I will watch again to understand the food journey again and the spices collection it’s grown there thanks for the tour and knowledge we are able to gain through u all and the team
Love watching your videos. The part where you told that everyone must keep open mind while having kerala cuisine because of coconut oil. Appreciate it. Love this attitude. That makes you one great traveler and most importantly a learner. Thank you sir for the videos.
No appreciation is good enough for you Harish ji. Happy to learn that you got your first sponsorship. I can see, you will go long way in this profession. Stay ground as you are today and keep your honesty(which visible from your personality/body language) intact.
thanks - you know the first thing i told the organziation was that i will mention it in the video that this is a sponsored episode... they said they are fine
This is what you called beauty of my nation we all are one Punjab,Sindh,Gujrat,Maratha,Dravid,Utkal,Banga.we have so many foods to explore from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and from Gandhi nagar to ita nagar.🙏🏻😘
Harish ji,you really love to eat good food. You have a wonderful smile. You use simple language to explain.i had been to kerala 4 times and really love the place and food.
Outstanding, I always wait for your videos, I have visited Kerala but it seems I m seeing it for the first time through your videos. Well done 👌 Harish ji
Sir aapne TH-cam pe aag lga di h. People are loving your simplicity and genuineness. Dusre Food channels k comments section me bhi people are praising you :)
Hi Harish, Plantains are different from dessert bananas and are larger, generally cooked raw as a form of starch like potatoes, yams, sweet potatoes etc. They are also used for making chips when raw. When ripe they are used like dessert bananas and in Kerala for the "Pazham Pori" or fritters. See the Wikipedia article on this en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cooking_banana. Anyways, the important thing is that you enjoyed the fritters that is all that matters! Have fun..!
Harish have a good day, GOD gifted both Indo Pak, with beautiful scenic places, weathers, lovely peoples, food, family values,. Wish someday we both explores Indo Pak. Keep it up, wbr.
Had gone to Munnar in 2015. It's a heaven on earth. All things are excellent but were a very hard time spending 3 days eating. Couldn't able to digest the smell of coconut oil in foods due to its strong smell. At last, found a veg restaurant that used to cook foods with refined oil. Thank God, It saved us🙏
Big Fan of Your Chennal. I am Planing a trip in next feb, from Delhi-Udaipur-Kerala-Indore-Delhi by road on my car. Already watched your almost all journeys and now watching again to note down important spots to visit and some tips.
Sir, I am big fan of yours. Your simplicity and patience(kind of pause) is key ingredient. I dont find this with new kids doing all over the internet except ronnie and barty blog.
The chillie used in chutney was the normal kind. Original kappa mulaku combination is with 'kanthari' chilli.( waiting for trivandrum episode for that) And the mushroom ularth was superb. The pieces of coconut makes all the difference. And the glimpses of next episode is awesome. We all are waiting for the elephant ride😊
Thanks for Sharing Bali Sahib - You Enjoyed your Day and I Enjoyed this post - On my trip to Thekkady I had seen lots of others places of tourist interest - but can not forget the street food of Banana and big mild chilly pakora in my whole life.
Oh god. Too good sir. You were right in saying that a person needs to develop taste to enjoy local delicacies and who better than you can say that. The promo for upcoming video was exciting. Keep the good work going.

As usual the video was indeed very nice and interesting specially the spice farm.I had heard about cocoa butter but had no idea as to how it is produced or obtained. The ajwain plant reminded me of the one I had in my garden. Its leaves are used to make very tasty pakodas or bhajiyas. The entire leaf is dipped in the batter made of besan and then deep fried. A very very beautiful episode.
