This video is very helpful. I have a lot of coloring books and pencils and hesitate to use them because I don't know where to begin and I am tired of just coloring an object with neutral colors. I need to practice using combination of colors on one object so it looks more three dimensional and has a realistic look instead of just mono coloring.
I love the dragon life coloring book I used gel pens on that book but I just got my castle art color pencils this book is really beautiful I love it but it's for someone birthday gift 😍🤗😇☺️🥰 I can't wait to give it to him
I use coloured pencils but I love crayons more. If I'm having a bad day and I want to relax I'll pick my crayons. Because they are soft and comforting. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way though. Because everyone else raves about pencils.
I would love to do flowers but have no idea what kind of flowers they are….if the name of the flowers were listed, I could look them up like you suggested for the birds. Are there any books that do that?
I just color..its strickly how i feel in the moment. I like flowers, and if im tired.. I'll just color something simple to sketch. I dont try to make it perfect .justt coloring...
One thing that I struggle with is where to apply each color on my page once I've picked a color palette. I tend to go for detailed books and ones that have a lot of different items on each page, such as Tomislav Tomic books and Melpomeni Chatzipanagiotou, and even some of the pages in Hanna Karlzon's books can have many different things one the page, especially double page spreads. It's very difficult for me to color a page unless I'm inspired and I can imagine where I want to color each thing.
Hi Pamela, so for what I understood greyscale is easier for beginners then colouring in regular books…..how can I group the coloured pencils by group colour …..do you have a guide ….I have prismacolors pencils. Thanks

Do u know if it’s possible to buy JUST the coloring companion? Not the volumes that go with it.
I have almost 200 books. Choosing one is the problem. I have many of each genre.

Yes. That is for just one of them. There are two Color Catalogs....1 & 2. There are also the Color Companions that can be added on.
