MTBIKER is the largest cycling e-shop in Slovakia and one of the largest in central Europe, delivering close to 200,000 orders per year across 60,000 SKUs from its fulfillment center in Trencin. The ecommerce specialist delivers to 25 European countries with a focus on Slovakia, Czech Republic, Austria, Hungary and Poland.
The company has installed Goods-to-Person (G2P) robots from Brightpick to automate order fulfillment in its fulfillment center. The warehouse ships out approximately 4,000 orders per week and holds 60,000 SKUs across bicycle components, cycling accessories, sports apparel and more. The Brightpick solution holds approximately 18,000 totes in storage and is designed to achieve 450 picks per hour with one human picking station.
Brightpick robots work with standard shelving and totes, enabling fast deployment and easy integration with any warehouse environment, including existing operations and mezzanines. Unlike other solutions such as shuttle (such as Exotec) and cube AS/RS (such as Autostore), Brightpick robots do not need any fixed infrastructure, grids or conveyors to operate. As such, the robots serve as an attractive shuttle, Exotec and Autostore alternative.
