Im actually lowkey charmed by the design here. Those early 2000s character designs especially, the big arms, huge feet, charmingly bumblimg mecha suits. Awesome and wholesome looking despite being set in a frankly dark setting
I just recently discovered it for the first time at a game store too. I saw it on Xbox first and was gonna grab it for that, but then a little further in the store I also found it for ps2 for about $10 cheaper, so went with the ps2 one instead. Still haven't tried it so I was curious about this review
Right there with you, it sucked up way too many hours on my OG XBOX. Years later, Valkyria Chronicles came along and scratched the same itch. I always remembered thinking they must have played Future Tactics.
I think if really dig into it you can have a good time with it. Especially in Multiplayer. I never played it myself and never heard it before but from what i saw here it looks intresting. It is only weird for me that if you would hide somewhere, the ambience where you are or the character itself in comparsion is too big or too small. I don't know if this is an issue in this game but if this is a tactic Game, it could be. But i thought from overall, that the game need a fair chance :)
