    Very beautiful black galaxies, better than mine! I didn't have much luck breeding them in the planted tank, I have to try it again.

      Thanks so much for the kind words. Hope to selectively breed them with spider legs, my red ones are all spider legs with rarely culls on the legs. I'll have to send you some of these black galaxies. Will be in touch soon

    Nice Video, I got my BGFs 1/26/22 and they have gone nuts too. Lots of BOAs and have cull a tank to breed them out too.

    I got some about 8 months ago and they just started breeding. They are fun to watch. I have a mix of snowflake and boa as my first batch. I’ll def be able to have 2 smaller breeding tanks to attempt both lines. I’m lucky and haven’t seen any steels yet.

    You keep parameters as traditional Caridina Shrimp tanks? Heard that I snot easy to put them in planted tanks..

    • @RWAquariumPages
      @RWAquariumPages  ปีที่แล้ว

      Theyre more adaptable than you think, but yes it's best to keep them in caridina water parameters

    Neocaridinia or caridinia?

  • @Cleeon

    May I know the water parameters like tds, ph, and gh used for that tank?
    I ever try to breed them with same parameters like pure red line, they're seems healthy, but no babies

    • @RWAquariumPages

      Ph 6.2 tds 130ppm temp 21c, try to match the breeders parameter where you got the shrimp from, thatll be best. Are they adults or juvi?

      @@RWAquariumPages with ph 6.2, clearly you break the myths, they told me that most of Taiwan of Tigerbee must keep with ph bellow 6 to induce them to breed.
      I don't know when I buy them, but for now, they all must be adult, because 4 months passed.
      Thanks for sharing the information

      @@Cleeon it's true lots of people in taiwan breed below ph 6, but a few of my friends locally breed around 6.2-6.5 with success. When i swap substrate back to ada amazonia, it'll drop to ph 5.5-5.8 and that might induce even better results. will keep you posted
