Ok I do want to say this was one of the better episodes but as a manwha reader them speeding thought the heart wrenching moment of rak meeting bam again sort of hurts. I hope the next episode gives us the proper long awaited reunion. Rak crying always gets me. (I am glad however that they did put some thought into anak v ran as it’s one of my favorite fights in the manwha.)
It is sad there was hardly any buildup to the reunion moment as others have said, but I trust they'll elaborate on it in the next episode. That said, THE FIGHT!! I have been hoping (or coping, you decide) that Anaak vs. Ran would be great and they actually did a great job. Beyond just not being bad, which seems to be the standard for this season unfortunately, I felt it was actually GOOD. Many of the other parts of this season I've had to find other things to enjoy - the story obviously being adapted from the Manwha, the voice acting, the music, etc. But it really feels like I can finally appreciate the animation and choreography in this episode without tacking on a "but...". Credit where it's due - good job on the studio for not flubbing this. I really hope they can keep it up, there's a couple more great fights in this season I'm excited to see, and scenes in general. Unfortunate that they cut the song "Get Lucky" from the party scene, but I imagine getting the rights would have been expensive lol. As you could probably already tell, Punk and Io are a direct reference to the band Daft Punk Love your commentary, I've said this before but you're incredibly observant and you make connections as you watch and it's fun to listen to you theorizing! Tower of God is one of my favorite pieces of media, so I'm glad you like it! Lastly, no one ever expects THE REVOLUTION!!!
noooo they changed how rak found baam... they actually chase him. Baam sees them, then run and flies off, but then paracule jumps on baam making him stop running away and just THEN rak sees him! I think it's an anime shrinking to fit the episode - kinda problem. At least all the clothes were basically the same as the manhwa. (Baam with the suit GOES HARD)
Sucks they cut out actual scene of goseng and horyang at the party dancing. If I recall correctly they adapted seven chapters in this episode so the last half felt really face paced 😔
They cut the Rak meets Bam scene so badly 😭😭 In manhwa it has more weight. Bam realises the situation, so the moment he sees Rak and Endorsi, he starts running away, to keep them away from the situation. It's more heartbreaking when they catch him after he even tried to run from them 😢
The few missing party scenes are gonna be adapted in the next epsiode. They only switched the order of some scenes to fit the hug scene in this episode. The party isn't over yet!
Things removed/cut from this episode: 1. Prince Miseng helping Horyang going on a date and dance with glasses girl (romance time). 2. Anaak and Ran night party scene where they discuss about Viole. Ran was curious and asked Anaak directly because Viole acts like he knew Anaak. 3. Cassano asking Emily if Doctor Sophia loves them as Human. And the answer is no. Doctor Sophia never love Cassano and Horyang. They were just used as weapon experiments. 4. Rak capturing Baam and hug him was cut so bad. In the manhwa, Baam tried to run away because he's afraid FUG will find out, a chase scene, Baam flying with shinsu disk he copied from baseball Ranker Love, and Paracule actually played a role in blocking his path. This is supposed to be worth of two episodes. They speedblitz the episode after Ran VS Anaak. They cut like 2 chapters.
@@Nightdreaux22647 I hope not. They did this befor in the hand of Arlene arc where it seemed like the cut some stuff in episode 9 but actually moved it to episode 10
I'm so happy that despite the budget animation the history and the characters are still carrying the whole season, this is why ToG is compared only to one piece in terms of worldbuilding.
Actually really great episode, only with that terrible cliffhanger ending
True
Mechanical crab CGI jumpscare

pleasantly surprised with the fight but wtf was that reunion 😭 you gotta read it in the manhwa later it's super well done and emotional there
The dehumanization of Bam begins!!
noooo they changed how rak found baam...

correction: rak saw him before the chasing. I meant just then he *hugs* him
18:55 yes, Rak is actually a huge tsundere we love him 😂💜

U never know it may end up in the next episode??

The cliffhanger was evil! I hope they expand on Rak and Bam’s reunion next time
Gonna be a legendary read through after this season wraps up.
Welcome to SIU's patented cliffhangers, it only gets worse from here (at least in the Webtoon)
YEON AND ENDORSI 🔥

I belive this is all gonna be capitualated on in the Next episode, don't just assume they're gonna cut those scenes the party isn't over yet.
@marwalight5838 keep coping forever bro!!! The anime doesn't care about TOG. This is just money-grab project. They cut many things without thinking
@@Nightdreaux22647 I hope not. They did this befor in the hand of Arlene arc where it seemed like the cut some stuff in episode 9 but actually moved it to episode 10
@@marwalight5838 where is Jinsung training scene with Baam bro???
I lowkey ship the two of them now 😂 what can i say, i'm down for the "enemies/rivals that become lovers" trope
Nah anak x ran is a cute ship 🤣
BIGGEST CLIFFHANGER YET lol they keep topping themselves each episode

Okay, I'm genuinely disappointed with this reunion, in the manhwa the scene is much more exciting😭😭
