I picked up a used Old Town Topwater 120 PDL back in December 23for $1700 and it is great. It has the power pole mount and rear grab handles just like the Sportsman.
Great review! I have an Old town sportsman 106 paddle and love it! Old town makes quality well thought out fishing platforms that are a joy to fish with. They even include a place where the rod holders are to add a lanyard strap to save your rods/ reels from ending up in the water by the ever-hungry creekside bush/tree...
Good review John,.....I wish that I enjoyed fishing from a kayak. I've tried it a few times and it's just not for me seems like. But I can see where you just about have to use one in your type of fishing. This will be good info for folks that want one that doesn't cost a fortune.
Hi John, my 11 year old and I are doing to Dollywood/Pigeon Forge this weekend, but we want to get a few hours of wading in for Bass. Any good suggestions for doing this on public water?

I would love to see you try out & review a FeelFree Lure 11.5 Overdrive Pedal kayak and compare it to your Old Town Sportsman 120 PDL!

I really like my sportsman 106 oldtown. From what I can tell only a few small differences in the topwater and sportsman. Super stable.
Agreed. A smaller capacity but I'm 240 and have no problems.
Nice review John. Just picked up a Sportsman 120. Really liking this kayak so far.
Cool
Do they make caps for the flush rod holders? Mine keep getting water in them and I don’t like it
