hey man i love the build, and its crazy how well built and reliable these cars are! i just picked up an 06 a few months ago and i'm trying to start a build on it but i cant find too many places selling the things i'm looking for, any tips? also i'm curious as to how much money you've put into yours. considering you've had it just over a decade i'm sure it'll be hard to tally all that together but i'm genuinely curious lol
Corey Mills hi Corey, yeah these cars can run for a long time as long you maintain them. I just finished tuning my car a couple of weeks ago. Very hard to find aftermarket parts for our sonata. EBay is your best friend. If you have a Korean friend, have them search Korean keyword for our sonata that may take you to Korean websites. I probably have spent over $8k on parts and stuff because I’m always changing the setup car. Wish you the best on your KDM journey

Those are from sharkracingcom I got them many years ago. I’m not sure if they still have them.
How much percent on the tints all around ?
I got 10% all around. With these tints you need to drive with one hand on the window button, in case you see a cop drive by. =)

One question I have a 2010 in dominican republic and the radio is totally different did you change it and put a 2013 radio center in it ?
Andy Espinal I installed an iPad mount onto the dashboard and moved the existing sonata radio downwards. It kind of looks like an 2013 dash but it’s a 2010. The speedometer is factory, it came with the car.

It’s quite hard to find aftermarket parts for our cars now. Search eBay “sonata nf coil overs” hopefully you will find something

Nice car mate. I have the 2006 sonata (looks like a 2007) right hand drive model. I had 20 inch rims on it but they were too heavy, you can feel the difference. Trying to find a set of 18s instead.
What coil overs did you use?
I have SMA suspension on the sonata. With 19’ rspec wheels from Hyundai Genesis 2009-2012
Knolen G, you’re absolutely right. 20’s make the ride uncomfortable. You can feel the difference with the 19s but not as much. 18s are a perfect size for our sonatas. But the 19’s fill the gap perfectly 👌

Ant Danks I would search ebay for most parts. Search for model and year of your car and the type of body part your looking for. That’s how I search
I been looking for years and can’t find lowering springs or coilovers for the Azera

I would say $6k - $8k can get you there. This is may not include all the paint, shipping, & installation. But most of it can be done. 👍 best of luck on the Sonata
