      Can’t wait till men complete in the women’s events! Already happening in some states, they say trans athletes have no advantage on women, but two guys in high school track shattered a 30 year state record in women’s sprints, they took first and second at the state competition, bumping the biological girl WHO SHOULD have WON in third. Shame and we let it happen

    Jumping against this guy in high school he made other future college athletes in high jump and long jump look like middle schoolers. Amazing to see how much he's continued to improve. Especially in the long jump

    JuVaughn is an incredible athlete, obviously. What really impresses me is the way this young man presents himself. I have watched every one of his interviews that I can find and he is respectful, intelligent, well spoken, and grateful in every interview. He has a very good head on his shoulders and would be a great roll model for any youngster. He is one athlete that I really hope does well.

    Harrison does a unique kind of hitch kick ‘shuffle’ in the high jump. Impressive.

    Amazing talent. My gut feeling is he has a 'smidge' more potential in high jump than the long jump, but it's great to watch him take on both right now.

    Love it as a jumps coach and he will qualify for the olympics once he stays injury free and he can medal in both and probably he can win both.Jumpers who are consistent often improve with every jump.

      the shoulders usually aren't the problem. It's usually hips or legs that take the bar off. In his championship jump at NCAA nationals, his hips cleared the bar by a good 2 inches.

    This guy is obviously phenomenal in both events! Especially at such a young age. He definitely has world record potential. He just needs to get a little stronger and faster. I also think he will make the team in both events and medal in the high jump. The long jump is will probably be to stacked with much older an more experienced jumpers. But he’s so natural you never know. It will be exciting to see! Good luck to him!

      True he'd compete, but he's not closing in 52.8 fast (yet). Hocker (and Nuguse) can close like Olympians at that speed.

      Keep in mind that both Nuguse and Hocker closed their last 800m faster than Kessler’s 800m pb to run a 3:35. As good as Kessler is I HIGHLY doubt he would be able to do that.

    I was a Track and Fields athlete and we were undefeated. However, I have never witnessed anything like what I am seeing. These athletes would have demolished us if they were competing against us in my day with the skills they have today. All I can say is 😳OMG!😲 WOW! 😲

    I stood next to a 7/11 jump in Sweden almost 32 years ago. This is just astounding that a man can dominate the Lj and the Hj. He is twice the athlete that I saw in Sweden.

    My memories from Oregon is the first and still the only 16 year old who ever have run a Mile under 4 minutes, a still young man who surprises, and today he stands with 5 European records. And hopefully he have time to run a new mile, 3000 meter hurdles, I am sure he can sit with 7 European records, and in the future also 10k on a track!

    I think Harrison will qualify for both, I think has a good chance of winning the high jump, don't think he'll win the long jump but could medal in it. High jump hasn't been as high lately with Lysenko and Barshim not jumping 2.40+, so somewhere close to that (like 2.36) should be enough to win it. Long jump on the other hand has been improving, lots of young guys coming in with pretty long jumps.
