Thanks. It's so subtle, but is relatable and relevant to an intermediate level rec/transport skater like me. Something to think about and work on along those rare flat, smooth stretches once dry weather returns!
The one in the middle is more “edge to edge” , the third one is steering, Felix is in the “middle”... but his style is also due to the high power of his pushes , i suppose.... very interesting Pascal, because this issue is one of the most common rules that “divide” one school for the other (and you can learn one or the other depending of who is your cpach) Ciao!!!
Very interesting, thank you Pascal. I’m wondering what you think about Eddy Matzger’s double push and how he teaches the underpush particularly. He gets great power and acceleration from it but I don’t see others, like Joey Mantia, really doing it much. They seem to focus on keeping their skates as straight ahead as possible and using body weight to get on edges more than anything. Just curious what your thoughts on his technique is. Thanks again for all your content.
Was not bad back in the days. Kind of too dynamic to me to save energy but nice to do for the feeling . Great skater we even did a video for salomon together’ call destination speed
Great video. Thanks for the analysis. Would love to see more videos of drills/practices to help get on outside edge for a beginner.

Great video. Another interesting video that you can make would be a side-by-side comparison of how skating technique changes for 4x110 vs 3x125.
Gracias por el video, saludos desde Costa Rica 🇨🇷

Ciao!!!
But i’m with you and Mantia 👍
o/ Merci pour tous ces détails techniques qui sont toujours bon à prendre, même lorsqu'on ne pratique pas l'endurance/vitesse.

Yeah Joey doesn’t have near as much “Boom-Shaka-Laka” as Eddy
@@ThePascalbriand Pascal i cant find the video with Eddy you mentioned in the comment. Do you have a link to the video?
Oh Awesome Broo thanks
Of the three skaters, Jason uses edge to edge the most. Please include Jason into the technique analysis video to do list.
Yes I think so Jason use the most edge to edge :-)
Looking Félix I think that he is more steering on his right skate and better use side to side edge on the left one.
Yes I think so
Does your feet hurt on the bottom when your skating
No never :-)
At this moment, no but always pain at knees and ankle
I love Holland to skate
More steering: maybe the one in the middle...?
@felixrijhnen in front Jason Suttels in the middle and Jimly jouette in 3
But ... may be not ;-) the one in the middle
@@ThePascalbriand Gotta train my eyes before starting with my own feet :D
