The album version of this song has the most satisfying guitar sound of any song that I’m into. Such bottom end grunt and high end crackle. Awesome guitar sound.
The Last DJ Tour was special. It was the last tour that they played a significant number of deep cuts on. We saw them in Philly December of 2003 on that tour.
Deep cut? lol ... this song was released as a single and charted #21 on Billboard. Nothing close to the definition of Deep cut... but good that you recognize good music, at least.
I like when Mike starts jamming a bit, but it's cut short here....oh, well. Yes, I wonder when this was.....I guess "The Last DJ" era. GREAT JOB. HIS FANS ARE THERE. SOUNDS LIKE not too big of a place.....I wish I'd been there.
❤❤❤miss ya Tom.
Very 1st song I learned on the guitar. Tom Petty was this Florida boys inspiration. Thank you T.P. where ever you are.
Such an underated song.

He was going for Jeff Lynne's sound at the time.
Love this uptempo version.
My favorite Petty song!!
You were my morning sun. Your just a loaded gun , now. Nuff said, awesome!
I've stood in your gallery
Seen what's hanging from the wall....epic lyrics
Love this song R.I.P. Tom petty 🤟❤

My favorite Tom Petty song for sure !! (and horrendously under-rated by the radio stations upon its release)
Excellent. A True Class Act. *Thank you so very much for sharing this!* 😎
I don't see why his stuff doesn't get a billion views
To me this is one of the greatest songs ever. It's the most underrated song of all time
Awesome lyric writer!
Deep cut & one of my favorites.

@@ethelroast9671 maybe not a deep cut, but not one with tons of MTV play. Lol

You sir are horribly missed and always will be..
Sounds good!
Fantastic 😁 thanks for sharing 😎
The Postman. Great movie with Tom Petty , Kevin Costner.
TPATH is the best. I love alot of music. Heavy metal. Number one is Slayer. Petty number 2.
Yeah Scott and Ron on backing vocals!
Jackson Browne was clearly taking notes from this song when he penned “Shape Of A Heart”.
Can’t recreate this song with the same energy as the studio….
love it! Is that Dana in the front row?
Dana is the one dancing in the dark at about minute 2:33.
The blonde singing the middle 8 in the front row is . . . some other doll.
What year was this?
2002 on The Last DJ tour
Love the song, not this version. Tempo too fast, rushed
no one looks happy..........
Could look anyway they want when you're the best American rock band ever
Dan...
Looking "Not Happy" suits this powerfully poignant song's break💔up, 🎶 "time to kiss her good bye" lyrics! 🎸🎶
Too fast tempo
acmecompany So what... Who cares... always a credit in the crowd....it’s Tom Petty 😁
acmecompany Crowd sure doesn’t think so....
Yea it is
Agreed Thought the same thing.
@@zippos7952 His song his choice. Live!
Most underrated song ever pretty much
