I ended up having to overseed my yard in sections last section was done 10/21. Im in Virginia and this week we got mid 70s all week hopefully it sticks around. My first section i did already is showing germination so that means the other parts should be getting ready to pop through the peatmoss. I plan to let the yard go till Thanksgiving if it will let me.
I planted too late in the season up north. It hasn't freezed, but the slow germination of seed was a complete disaster. Weather was very, very uncooperative with rain repeatedly when I needed to do yardwork then I had to wait for soil to dry. Such a mess! Oh well... probably will be throwing down hay so the dog isn't in complete mud when he does his thing. Spring will come.
Thanks for watching. It can be very challenging, especially when the weather doesn't cooperate. For us the temps were good but we didn't get like any rain for almost 3 weeks after I seeded. The water bill hurt a bit.haha

Mid 70s are great temps for seeding. I hope good weather continues for you! Thank you for watching.
