    Awa
The Awá are Brazilian indigenous people that live in the Amazon rainforest. There are over 350 members, 100 of whom have no interaction with the outside world. They are considered critically endangered due to disputes with logging interests on their range. They lived in towns at first, but became nomadic around 1800 to avoid European intrusions. During the nineteenthcentury, the Awá were progressively targeted by European immigrants who removed most of the forests on their country. To avoid European invaders, the Awá people began to live more nomadic lifestyles from 1800. From the mid-1980s onward, some Awá relocated to governmentsponsored townships.
However, they were allowed to keep their ancient way of life. In nomadic communities of a few dozen individuals, they rely solely on their forests and have little or no contact with the outside world. In 1982, the World Bank and the European Union granted the Brazilian government a loan of US$900 million. The loan required that the lands of certain Indigenous peoples, including the Awá, be demarcated and protected; this was especially important for the Awá, whose forests were being increasingly invaded by outsiders, with many cases of tribespeople being killed by settlers and the forest on which they relied being destroyed by logging and land clearance for farming. Without government assistance, the Awá and their culture would die extinct, even though it took the government many years to act.

Some of these tribes were scary, but they don't bother anyone if you don't bother them
