    The stormy winter night sky & the snowfall made for a perfect background in this exploration.

    What a neat old house. It may be small but you did a great job of covering all of its interesting details. Always like to hear the backstory. Sorry for the fellow murdered and his family. Thanks for sharing.

    The lighting and editing of the color and tone alone make this house daunting. Good job on this!

    Even, with the snow's falling, Terry's exploration is still going strong. When the two storey house first came into picture, and covered in darkness, it looks rather intimidating, especially with it's darkened black walls. It gives an impression of an eerie and haunting look. Some of the windows could be seen had been boarded up, to protect from inquisitive eyes, vandals and scavengers. However, inside, it looks like any average house, decent, with large and old fashioned looking windows, that has a space for people to sit, read books while able to look outside comfortably. The kitchen is more than spacious, if compared to a much smaller rooms. The wooden flooring had been painted, unlike most houses which prefer the wooden flooring varnished and in it's natural color. The staircase looks simple, clean cut, nothing fancy, without any elaborate and intricate carving. The house, although not as spacious, but looks suitable for young couple who is starting a family.
    The original occupants if still alive, I believe would be in their late 60's and 70's. What actually happened on that fateful night, prior to the shooting? Was it caused by rivalry amongst gang members, love affair gone wrong, loan sharks? The newspaper mentioned that a suspect was caught. Was he punished? What was the motives? Whatever little bits and pieces of the murder as told by Terry leaves much of it untold, after-all this is an exploration of abandoned places and not solving a murder case. Thanks Terry.
    Although, the occupants had long gone, but it is not as empty and abandoned as people assumed it to be. There are weird voices calling out for help, as indicated below. Here goes:
    1) At 10:16 a boy cried out, "Help me," as Terry was going down the stairs to the basement;
    2) At 11:10 - 11:12 a male voice cried, "Help...help me," as the voice intermingled with the voices of the other explorers;
    3) At 11:14 - 11:16 a boy voice asked, "Help me get out of here;"

      I agree! It's nice to know back stories of the places, whether it's for imagining the life of the people before it became abandoned, or if it's for the reason it ended up abandoned and helps explain the stuff we find that was assumed with a totally wrong story our imaginations came up with lol

    I absolutely LOVE the green wallpaper in the upstairs room. This is a lovely home. I would enjoy renovating this home. I would save those gorgeous French doors and place them in a showcase position. I can visualize new state of the art appliances in the spacious kitchen. That green wallpaper has just captivated me. I wonder how close I could come to that original print. I can imagine how satisfying it was raising a family here, But....in each life, some rain must fall. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us.

    It's called a roll up shade not a shutter we had them in our house whe were young shutters are for the exterior of the house, even though they put interior shutters in the bathroom window for privacy reasons.

    That tank is a brine unit which purifies the water in the house and reduces sediment in the filtration process.

    If the guy wasn't murdered in the house itself you can't exactly call it a "murder house" now can you? Title is clickbait af. Despite that, I still enjoyed the urban exploration nonetheless.
