    Will splitting the share of household chores lead to creator intimacy in the bedroom? Digital creator and TikTok marriage counselor, Caylee Cresta shares her history with masculinity both growing up and in her own marriage. She shares her findings on splitting household chores, disconnected intimacy in relationships and how to foster greater understanding between men and women.
    About Caylee Cresta:
    Caylee Cresta is a content creator and tik tok star with over 2M followers famously known for her comeback series where she reacts to toxic opinions and videos from men (usually regarding women) through stern advice and education. Caylee created her channel while working as a public construction project manager where she would hear her male employees share the pains of marriage and complain about their wives and at the same time complain about the lack of sex in their relationships. She started to wonder “what do men want from women?” and thus the channel was born. Her aim is to bridge the communication gap between men and women by eloquently and calmly explaining viewpoints that many women are hesitant to express themselves.

    Small kindnesses. This is all we need. When my husband and I first started dating, I was a single mom of 1.5 year old twins, worked full time, and was going back to school online full time at night. I was at peak exhaustion. This man, who had NO responsibility for me or my children saw that I had dozed off on the couch in the middle of the day (turns out I had Lyme). Instead of gently waking me, he covered me with a blanket, made dinner and played with the kids. I literally bawled my eyes out when I woke up because I was just not used to receiving such kindness. It was probably an hour that I slept, but it was EVERYTHING.

    I wish they had discussed the stay at home girlfriends trend to a greater extent. Far as choices not negatively impacting a partner. Stay at home girlfriends could be dropped after 4 or 5 years with literally nothing to show for except that they served their boyfriend well. Its incredibly dangerous.

    Women weaponize men’s feelings against men. Men quickly learn not to share that with women, and if he hasn’t learned that lesson yet, trust and believe that a woman will teach him sooner than later.

      I think that one goes both ways for both genders, buddy. Inconsiderate reactions and manipulative tactics used against you when you share something vulnerable. I know women experience that everyday. Therefore, I do like the points made in this video that recognizes both men and women need a safe space to do just that and how do we work on ourselves so that our partner experiences that freedom in the relationship.

    I think the problem with her and other modern content creators (both men and women) is the unbalanced, polarized nature of their content. Content creators put out video after video representing one viewpoint. But that's what gets the views.

      Couldn't agree more... she said men go on dates thinking " do i like her" and women go on dates thinking " does he like me" aren't most of us thinking both? Who the actual f*ck doesn't care about being liked by someone that they like? Wtf is happening here?she makes these separations thatonly exist in her head and on misogynistic social media....Even the other woman calls her out on it with the sex for doing dishes... the idea that is the standard is actually ridiculous and degrading and just selective nonsense... but she had no clue😂 that just makes sense in her head 😂

    I'm halfway and I can barely stand how extremely amatonormative this is. People can have great sex after just a few minutes without even knowing each other. I experience it all the time when I visit a sex worker and yes, more often than not she really enjoys it too. If someone does not want sex, don't have sex, if someone wants to have sex, have sex. It's not that complicated.
    OK, I have to admit, in the end it gets a lot better. Feminism is about choice, I agree with that. And that nothing is more masculine than not feeling threatened about your masculinity. I also despise men spitting on a woman just because of her content, then you really need to 'man up'.
    So in the end, mixed feelings. But that in itself is OK.

    You wanna know what's bogging down energy for the lack? It's men's testosterone dwindling because of plastic products and a lack of men's health awareness.

    I feel like a lot of these conversations do are dishonest. Men HAVE to bring a certain amount of value to get sex/ be attractive to women. Women do not have to put in as much effort to get sex

      right but they dont want it most of the time. By the time women are out of their teens theyve been shown more than enough times that men only want sex and that turns them into something they dont want to be. Some kind of transaction. So why would easily being able to get something you dont want, from people you dont want it from, be seen as a positive?

    • @swaggy5419
      @swaggy5419 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@SuTho You’re saying women don’t want sex? Also, women have NO CLUE how something so effortless for them can be extremely difficult for men. It’s a positive because of the complete lack of effort required

    • @missinterpretation4984
      @missinterpretation4984 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      @@swaggy5419 It’s a positive because of the lack of effort? I can drive through a mud puddle with nearly no effort too but my car being filthy isn’t a positive just because it was easy for me 😂😂😂 YOU perceive it as a positive because you think it would be a positive for YOU. Your viewpoint is completely self centered which is probably why it’s harder for you to connect with partners.
