Thank you Sam for this intro. Am still interested with this topic and therefore waiting for part 2 disadvantages of this panels. I will need to compare with stone blocks (masonry) before I take a step forward towards my retirement home. You are doing a good job educating and guidance. Keep it up!
This is informative Sam. Would like to know what the costs look like as compared to the use of ordinary blocks. Just subscribed and looking forward to learning more cost effective building technologies.

When you are evaluating the cost comparison between the two methods, you should also put to consideration other aspects such as labour, plastering, skimming, paintworks etc. Watch out the next episode as we continue to engage on this conversation.
@@lilianmaina4248i kike the fact that the heat esp in hot places like mombasa would be a non issue, noise resuced and space is larger allround as blocks are wider .I imagine though using normal coastal reef blocks -super strong as frame all-round and maybe partitioning inside using precast and also kitchen counters .
There's nothing like light weight concrete, concrete has a unit weight, you could say the panels weigh less compared to solid panel. Other wise good info, thank you.
Thank you for reaching out. Indeed there is light weight concrete that is dependent on the constituent materials. It's density is less than the normal concrete.

Can you transport and build in Uganda
Hi. I'm planning to construct a flat with 6+G floors. can I use the panels for walling?
That is possible. Once you have the frame structure, the panels.can be used as infills.
Nice info.
Thanks
Does moisture sip through or do you need to do special weter proofing
The water does not sip through. Nevertheless, joints are sealed properly before plastering/skimming.
Thanks for sharing.
Please, do you have a brand in Ghana?

What is the overall cost comparison between precast and normal masonry walling ?

From my research the difference in cost is negligible, all factors considered
