Agate Limb Cast Collection

My collection of agate limb casts and other agatized nodules. All of these specimens were found in Montana. Agate limb casts are very rare and difficult to find. If you enjoy hiking through miles of steep, grizzly bear infested, rocky, timbered and dead fall litered terrain you will obtain such a collection in about 10 years of searching, if you know what you are looking for and at the correct elevation. These incredible limb casts exist in a very specific formation at high elevation.

well, with a pressure washer. then i cut them with a 24" diamond blade rock saw then I polish them down to 8,000 grit.

Nice materials for sure, congrats. They're not all that rare in Central Oregon.....Each state has its secrets....maybe we could swap info--you share some great Montana Agate locales on the Yellowstone, and I'll share with you some nice info on some central Oregon limbcast locales....Cheers
