Junkanoo Eleuthera Bahamas
มุมมอง 2.8K11 ปีที่แล้ว
Festival in the Bahamas. Eleuthera is an outer island with few tourists, making this an incredible destination for those seeking local flavor. Junkanoo probably began in the 16th or 17th century. Around Christmas, Bahamian slaves were given a few days off. This allowed them to leave the plantations to be with their families and to celebrate the holiday with music, dance and costumes. In the ear...

Agate Limb Cast Collection
มุมมอง 7K12 ปีที่แล้ว
My collection of agate limb casts and other agatized nodules. All of these specimens were found in Montana. Agate limb casts are very rare and difficult to find. If you enjoy hiking through miles of steep, grizzly bear infested, rocky, timbered and dead fall litered terrain you will obtain such a collection in about 10 years of searching, if you know what you are looking for and at the correct ...

Elk bugles
มุมมอง 91K12 ปีที่แล้ว
If you want to listen to some incredible vocalizations of elk, well, you have come to the right place. This is a compilation of elk sounds with video recorded in the wilds of Montana. You could even improve your elk "vocabulary" by listening to real live elk talk. With original video and audio recorded at the same time you might even pick up on some of the "language".

    Carnivores especially when they have not eaten for a long time, do eat prey when the prey is still alive.It happens more often than most people realise.Nature is effectively efficient and cruel.

    • @stianh3
      @stianh3 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Laurie Campbell Which is kinda weird when you think about it. Cause humans cause alot more damage and torment upon anything with a shred of life in it. Often just for the hell of it. Compared us, wolves are just fluffy little stuffed animals. Thing is, every single living predator, well mostly, behaves like this. They eat their prey alive. Fresh meat is the best. Anyone who's ever tasted the difference would aggree.

    • @HyenaChannel2014
      @HyenaChannel2014 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Laurie Campbell That is so silly to hate an entire species of animal just because of how they survive. Almost all predators eat their prey alive, including lions, tigers, hyenas, bears, etc.

    • @ChrisTian-rm7zm
      @ChrisTian-rm7zm 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think wolves are beautiful animals. That doesn't mean I want to go near them. No animal should be hated, as no animal is bad or evil. The only act according to their instincts.

    The wolf population in Wyoming is getting out of control. We need to start managing the wolves. We need to allow wolf hunting outside the park again.

    • @alpinek9hans310
      @alpinek9hans310 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joe KN You just want to kill something. Which is OK if you do just don't try to justify it by "control" or some other excuse. You enjoy killing for "experience". I am not against killing if there is a the good reason but experience is not it. At least the wolf is killing for the necessity of survival where survival is always only moral reason for killing.

    • @valkyr_rl7169
      @valkyr_rl7169 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      You dont know shit about the situation here. I do enjoy hunting deer and elk with my dad. However, on a different issue, the wolves are literally killing everything here. The only valid option is to hunt them. What would you do to manage them. Im also not "whining" im simply stating the current issue and sharing my idea on what we need to do.

      Your kidding, right? Your own comment fits your description far more than mine. And when did I ever claim they should all be killed? I didn't. What I did was point out that they are wild animals and incredibly deadly-dangerous, rather than the innocent sweet puppies that so many foolish people like to think of them as.

      gbmwaz hunting sometimes takes days of backpacking, so it can sometimes be a hell of a lot of work. i assume you've never shot anything. hunting is a 1000 times more human than wolves ripping apart an animal alive. ive shot over 20 deer and a few elk and all my shots are heart/lung hits. it drops them within a few seconds. hunting is also not about working for it, sometimes it can be; its about the experience. something you've probably never experience because based off your ignorant vocabulary, i assume your like 8.
