The summer between the second and third year of medical school is regarded as your last summer break before a lifetime of work. Between my second and third year of medical school my father, brother, and I traveled to Northwestern Montana to fly fish in the Rockies for a week. I generally spend my fishing time as a tournament-based bass fisherman, and I have a fully outfitted bass boat. That week in Northwestern Montana fly fishing from the bank has been one of the most incredible, unforgettable memories of my life. This entire channel is the embodiment of the lifelong memories I have made with my brother and my father as the legacy of our relationship together. I fish regularly, but this channel is special to me. This channel should remind all of its watchers of the romantic motivation for fishing, regardless of species, technique, or creed. I will forever revere my first time seeing Horse Creek at sunset and the mountain stream we fished because the Wind River was flooded with snow melt.
