- East London based angler Waleed Chaudhrey entered the sport in an unconventional manner. At ten/twelve years of age after watching a fishing program on tv and happening upon a flyfishing set up in his local Aldi which his father purchased for him, Waleed became a lifelong flyangler. This short film captures the sights and sounds from a tour of two urban waterways in the city.

River Darent just outside of London. A great small river to cut your teeth on.
Tough for us Yanks to understand the concept of having to search for fishing in a ‘free place’.
A lot of your fishing is low cost, a state licence covers you for most things. That said only small numbers of fly anglers here go off the beaten track.
