Yes. He seemed to be rushing it. And I could do without the "slowed down helicopter" moments that he uses more than JJ uses Lens Flares. Less is more. We don't need one every 25 seconds.

This might be the most beautiful short film I ever saw. Ever since I was little, it has been a thing on my bucket list to do, and I hope that I one day might have the possibility to experience that place myself. I don't think so, it doesn't seem to create as much atmosphere and it's missing the narrative, even without the narration Joey's shots have more flavour and are telling a story. Don't really want to insult Ben but it's like he's constantly searching for a new wallpaper. Which might've been what he was looking to create, given the title, but I didn't enjoy it as much.

Tested is always inspiring me, but I have to say, I really connected with this video. not only the amazing journey is inspiring, but the helicopter "message" shows us that by sharing your art, people affected by it will enable you do make even better art. If they didn't show the pilots all the great footage they got from the helicopters taking off, they wouldn't have had the chance to do the no doors flight that gave them even better shots.
Thats great to hear! Sharing experiences was a major theme i was working with (from the pilots, to the russian crew, to even the other generator members at times).
This film and Joey's cinematography was excellent. Raises the bar for future Tested documentaries of this format. I was hooked from the first slo helicopter shot. I was also glad it was Joey's polished VO work narrating this piece. A natural. Nicely done.

Throughout the entire thing I was waiting for the footage from the ice plunge! Great video Joey, it's great to get a slightly different form factor of the trip rather than the daily vlogs and short factor stuff. I can't wait for the rest of the content to come out!
Joey, brilliant film, so pleased to finally be able to see yours and Norm's footage from the Arctic, as it was your going on the trip that has introduced me to the fantastic creators - Ben, Tim, Vivienne, Tom, Danny - have to get my regular content from them all. Hope you get the opportunity to do something similar in the future and capture that. And Joey - you make an excellent narrator as well as cinematographer
I love how colorful the town in Greenland was from the sky. Coming from a thoroughly Southern California valley town with brown stucco and beige stucco and cream stucco (sometimes all on the same house!?) the colors were incredible. Do they have need of a librarian?!
