I got one of those pinpointers when they were testing them. I was one of the testers. Really high quality tough simple pinpointer except my test model has to have a shim to get good battery contact. They fixed it in the public release. I love mine. I had never used one. Can`t live without it now. LOL!

The SUNPOW MD08 I have will detect metal coins at four inches and still has the original battery after nearly a year of use. I like this pinpointer with it's lighted display and three different tones or vibrating effects.
The hf nine function still has the original batteries and is strong as ever after two years.
I have noticed the GORDON HIGH PRECISION detector batteries have lost a bar. Although I was putting it through a vigorous test including the lighted display and maximum loud beeper.
Since it lost a bar of battery power I have used it for a month most every day sans lighted display and with low volume. It is still at three bars and works well.
I can see this machine paying for it's self in a year just from quarters and dimes.

My SUNPOW md08 is everything I need. I will use this at my local swim hole. I am very excited at the possibilities.
What model do you have and would you get another?

Mine is a test model that doesn`t really have a model number, but when I went back later they were calling it Sunpow and then other names like PudiBe which is the latest name they call it and it`s selling for about 50 bucks. Reviews are great so people like it. But it doesn`t look like mine now. Mine is great and detects better than the Garrett from videos of it I`ve seen. If I hold a nickel to the side of mine with my thumb after turning it on then slowly slide the nickel up just to where beeping starts then back it up till it stops, it will detect a coin at about 4 inches. It detects a quarter normally at about 1 3/4 inches. The box that it came in was generic but the PudiBe company was the original developer. @@rickylakemusic

One thang thet grinds my gears is no store clerks will accept that ugly discolored clad coinage. I do this fer beer money. Then the store will not take the money which just tears me up. Dang it!

I used to roll up my quarters to buy beer. I flooded the small town of Logansport, La with black quarters from around the region and boat landings on Toledo Bend Lake. I went to an old baseball field that nobody had detected and found over 20 bucks in quarters the first two days, then it started dropping...17, 12, then the last time I found only a few. My 1990s Bounty Hunter machine was really good but not deep enough for silver but one day when the lake was low I found three 14k gold rings, a 14k earring, and some old gold rim glasses that I think were 18k. They got stolen so I never found out. I wore that machine out. Then it was stolen too. I sold my property for a loss and just left. Terrible depressing dark place with evil people. I was about to put some of them in the dirt so I just left.

Dang dude I hope you are better off now in a good place.
, thanks for sharing yer story.
I could give you my hf nine function machine and a garden trowel. Only there is no pinpointer circuit as I cut a wire while fixing the broken handle. It works perfectly fine otherwise. I'm serious. Holler if you want, I will get back to ya.

Thank you but I`m ok compared to before. Just surviving but this is all I know anyway. Luckily I was in a car accident. A judge awarded me disability. I don`t have much but I`m rich compared to where I was before and hopeless and homeless. I was able to buy a used camper with the back pay, put a roof over it, and get some emergency solar power for all the storms here. I`m in a lot of pain and my neck is ruined. So I`m hoping they can fix it some day. I`m not going in a nursing home. I`ll exit the planet if it comes to that.
I`m gonna make the best of it and grow food and plant fruit trees. I`m on a very rural Louisiana lot with a creek nearby. I got me a still and wine making supplies. I have no car so if I want alcohol or fresh vegetables or fruit I have to make them here. I order sardines, tuna, crackers, vitamins, flour, sugar, syrup, seeds, fruit trees and basic supplies.
I was broke and homeless for years. So this is the high life now. I never had nothing before and played in bands and fished to make a little money. The car wreck ruined my ability to play drums so I switched to acoustic guitar because I sing. I had worn my old one out and was able to get a cheap but beautiful Dean Koa wood acoutic/electric a few years ago. My doctors ordered me to play again. I can still do it but not as good as before because of a pinched nerve in my neck. I want to go somewhere and perform again but the disease ended that idea. Hopefully that will still happen eventually. @@rickylakemusic

Dude, I got shot up in 22 from a home invasion where I was renting a room. I got hit three times and got ruined, should have died. I can barely move and need a new shoulder joint from where one of the bullets destroyed the ball and socket joint. I am retired and existing on fumes. I live inexpensive as I am able and dig up my beer money.

I was very lucky several times. Got robbed and carjacked. If I even describe much of it they`ll delete my comment. Sorry that happened to you. That`s why I keep to myself now. I don`t trust nobody anymore especially being back in LaSalle Parish, La where I grew up. I escaped here only because I left with a band as a drummer/singer. The first night I made 40 bucks I felt rich...I could buy a sandwich. I`ve been very lucky way too many times. I have no idea how I made it honestly. You got lucky too to be alive. • @rickylakemusic
      @rickylakemusic  หลายเดือนก่อน

There is featured setting to find the same item you just found. Say you found a quarter, hit the button and the Gordon Machine will remember the signal and only notify the operator when there is an exact match of the previous signal.
