In real life, only a helicopter would have been in the open, most tents and ammo in the forest and wounded in a civilian building basement. No one would set up a camp like this unless it is some NATO drill in a location where there are 0 chances of any real combat. Cars would have been left on the road to prevent car tracks from leading into the forest and giving away the whole camp.
Have you tried air to air combat on online server? Real fun starts when a bunch of AMRAAMS are launched. Server begins to suffer and dogfights are becoming a real "interstellar" experience

There are also a lot of document cases with BMP-2 Autocannon failures afaik.
It's great to see some decent new mods being released for Reforger. Performance has also improved significantly since launch. Even with 40+ simulated AI < 500m it's pretty decent on a ded server. What we need is headless client support - that will make a huge difference to npc responsiveness.

Then I’ll take control of an AI squad leader and will deliberately move at the speed of a snail. Too slow to where it’s unplayable. I check the weight every time, it’s always 17-19/80 Kg. So I’ll have to switch AIs and sometimes different ones move at a normal pace.. what am I doing wrong?
It's because that is literally 1 km away. The rendering at that distance isn't good even when zoomed in. For sure many things to optimize in the engine. That is actually what Reforger is for.
He should of just done it, those close shots on the jeeps near the tents alone is enough to riddle the tents with shrapnel. Would just be a mercy kill at that point, lmao.

I'm now playing Tarkov but it's still a very coarse cup of dirt. Arma is the worst offender, seems like It has to have that raw "Solidworks" vibe from high school 3D softwares...

Not even a full game relax your tits. It is pretty much a limited showcase of the engine used for the next arma title. And the best way to see if something works and needs to be fixed is letting people use it.

I think this is a BTR82 A because of the 30mm gun. The BTR80 does have a 14,5mm MG.
